The food was beyond fantastic. The attention to detail and combination of flavors was fantastic. I had the Steak Au Poivre encrusted with black pepper corns and to say the least it was delicious. Mariette our server was also amazing in guiding our group through the amazing menu. Will definitely be back when you visit Leonessa definitely make a reservation.

The menu tends to change seasonally.I’d describe their food as Mediterranean inspired Italian, which presents as a lighterer homade pasta, fresh seasonal veggies (often times locally sourced). This is not your typical heavy, cheese laden, Italian fareDrinks are also creative. Impressive and worldly wine list.Staff has alwy been knowledgeable, pleasant & helpful. Everything is made to order so plan on sitting, relaxing, enjoying the nice ambience, the fresh flowers.Restaurant seats 96 and the upstairs area can be used for private functions .

Excellent food, wine, ambiance and service. The octopus carpaccio was spectacular, the fried calamari was done perfectly, the duck was devine and the pork chop was amazing! Will definitely go back!!!
We had our second visit here tonight & are so glad we went back. Valet staff was friendly. Richard, the reason we came back, was so friendly & warm upon arrival. He was very attentive & really went the extra mile to be sure we were taken care of. Our server, Camilla was excellent. Very pleasant & friendly. The food was so very delicious & beautiful. I had the Haddock & my husband had the Chicken. Going early was key for us as the crowds later could tend to make the restaurant a bit noisy. Overall we were very happy with our experience. Looking forward dot another visit.

Great environment. Great food. I loved the fact that they had homemade bread with a nice olive tapenade. Some Italian joints nowadays charge for bread, which is ridiculous, and Leonessa does not. Calamari was great. Drinks were great. Reasonably priced. Would come back for sure.
After four visits to this restaurant, the verdict is: exceptional! There has not been one dish that our table didn't love for the quality of ingredients, taste and presentation. The menu changes through the seasons and tonight's tomato bisque was phenomenal including the Parmesan flan nestled in the center and the drizzle of balsamic. Oysters, fish, pasta, starters — there is so much to love. Five stars for Leonessa!
We absolutely loved our first visit! When we arrived it was busy - we had a delicious round from the bar while we waited. Our server (Mike) was fun, knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was outstanding! From being greeted to our dessert it was a wonderful evening. Kudos to Richard and the entire team!

Everything about our experience was fabulous. The cocktails were top notch, the Caesar salad was the best I've ever had. We had one haddock dinner and one risotto. Both were delicious. Dessert was limoncello cheesecake for my husband and an espresso martini for me. I highly recommend Leonessa. We will go back.

Leonessa exceeded our expectations on all fronts and is now among our favorite restaurants on Cape Cod! We had been meaning to get there and we are so glad we did. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees and all of the food was exceptional. My husband is a chef and is a very picky eater and he was very impressed! The restaurant is also gorgeous. It is very well decorated and the vibe is great in there. Can't wait to go back!
