Avoid! New management has no clue. Food was cold and tasteless. Should have gone to Grumpy's. Will from now on.

This new owner of this resturant is the same owner at the Kings way restaurant in Yarmouthport on which that is disgusting too!The food was absolutely horrible The Pancakes were huge and doey and tasted like rubber. The toast was saturated in butter when I asked for no butter. The potatoes were dry no seasoning. And on top of that it was 25 minutes until we received our breakfast. I had the sampler breakfast. We will never go back there ever again . There is no quality there and the owner is disgusting Rude as well. So stay away from this and his other restaurants.Thank you

Disappointed after many good experiences in the past. Food was underseasoned and served cold. Coffee only fair and not hot. Hope these new owners figure it

I ordered the Brie Apple and fig omelet out of curiosity and ready to maybe wish I hadn't but let me tell you, this is the best omelet I have had in ages. I was not expecting this combo to be so good! The restaurant is family friendly all the way around. They accommodate strollers and Inglesina seats workout great here. This will be my new go-to when we are in town every few months. The staff are just so so nice!

CASH ONLY!We visited on the strong recommendation of a nearby local business we regularly shop on the way home from weekends in Provincetown. Lots of parking on a side road leading off the main road which also serves as the parking lot. Charming exterior like an old house. I read the original owners retired and sold the business just a few weeks ago to a family who appears to have several family members working in the restaurant along with the previous staff.Upon entering, It might seem a little confusing as you walk into a foyer which also has counter/bar seating adjacent an open kitchen. There isn't a discernible host station so we just waited near the "wait to be seated" sign. An employee came up to us within a few minutes to seat us. As we were waiting, we noticed a pan of beautiful popovers on a counter and we knew right away we needed to try one. It was around noon which is just an hour before closing and were lucky to be seated at a very comfortable, roomy corner window booth. The main dining room is a large open space, very clean and naturally lighted from many windows. A young man came up to our table right away with water and took our drink orders. Coffee was delicious and piping hot and I love that they serve their soft drinks in a can with a glass of ice on the side. We let our server know we were first timers and enthusiastic about the many special items on the menu. We were immediately drawn to the special popover we had observed earlier, served with melted brie, raspberry jam, fresh raspberries and bacon. We decided to share one as a breakfast appetizer, before our entrees. It arrived with melty brie cheese, raspberry jam and bacon still bubbling from the griddle. No fresh raspberries, however which we didn't notice until we were half done with it.For our entrees, we settled on 2 of the extensive Eggs Benedict items on the menu. I had the Irish Benedict, house made Corned Beef Hash on a traditional english muffin. My husband chose a Florentine Benedict with spinach, served on potato pancakes instead of an English muffin. While waiting for our entrees, we observed some of the great young staff circling the dining room helping out the servers by refilling coffee, run food, bus tables and generally keep things clean and stocked. Our waitress was a little short with us, however, like she didn't want to be there, or maybe it was a long shift. We got what amounted to an eye roll from her at one point over a question we had about a menu item. When our entrees arrived we were a little disappointed with the messy presentation, and even more disappointed that they were both lukewarm.I could have said something, but by this time the restaurant was closing in a half hour and it's always such a big deal to complain in person. I also hate wasting food and probably waiting longer for the kitchen to redo an order that should have been right the first time, especially when you're starving. Maybe asking that the popover to be served first allowed our entrees to be left sitting longer than they should have. The home fries served are seasoned red potatoes chunks, cooked ahead, but not really what I would call home fries as they weren’t very warm and not browned on the griddle for very long to reheat them, if at all.My hash was tasty, but chopped up so finely that it was crumblyand mealy in texture, and again, not at all grilled, caramelized or cohesive . The english muffin was barely toasted and difficult to cut through. The poached eggs were cooked ok, but placed all on one muffin half with very little Hollandaise. The potato pancake on the florentine was better, but nothing on either dish was hot. We went to pay the check with a credit card, not realizing that the restaurant accepts cash only. Kind of thought our waitress might have mentioned this when we told her it was our first time visiting. Also no ATM on site, so I had to walk down the street to a bank to get money. We'll remember if we visit again.

We had a wonderful experience at Jack’s!! The food was delicious !! The property is beautiful, the staff so welcoming and Donna -the owner so was wonderful to even spend time with-she came over introduced herself sat with us as we were first timers to her restaurant , she even sent over complimentary popovers, so ? tasty!! We left the restaurant for a day of ? picking and offered to bring some apples back to Donna to repay her kindness, she thanked us and politely declined. We’ll definitely be back ???
