Tonight my wife and I had dinner and it was quite a great experience! We were warmly greeted and brought to a cozy, warm and pleasantly lit table. Our waitress Julie was wonderful! I order the scallop special and my wife had the lobster papperdera. The food was top shelf! We split a vanilla, honey and caramel cake with a few espresso martinis. Overall I would rate this a “Best in World Class restaurant”providing the very best service. Having met a dear friend Kathy from the past made the night even better. Highly recommend dining here!

Looks are deceiving, the restaurant is a land mark and that's the only thing they have going for themselves. Service, management and food all need a overhaul. I've dealt with all of them first hand, several different times so I won't be visiting this establishment ever again.

Terrible people honestly everyone’s experience will be different but from what I’ve seen they shouldn’t even be open they have drunk servers rude waitresses even at the bar they he lady smells like alcohol honestly I’d save myself the trip they should be inspected or closed and once I honestly find out how to have an inspector check it’ll be done!

I have been going to the Old Yarmouth Inn ever since the 70s when my parents moved here. We held all of our family milestone events in this restaurant. Everything from children's birthdays, weddings, and the Celebration of life were those that have gone on before us. The food has always been excellent the service has always been above and beyond. We are fortunate to have moved on Cape full time and permanently. Now the next generation is coming to visit and they get treated to a night out at the Old Yarmouth Inn.

Not that I'm a food writer or something, but it takes a lot for me to go 5 stars! Not the first time at OYI, and I wasn't disappointed on previous visits, always good. This time it was outstanding. From our server, Bavel, I hope I have correct spelling, who said it was a good night for Short Ribs, to the Halibut, spot on. Had the Wedge salad and it was delicious. The right size, not smothered in blue cheese, well done. Ribs were fork tender and delicious. Great cocktails too! Worth the drive from anywhere on the Cape. See you this summer!?

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary here tonight. We enjoyed our meals in the quaint surroundings of the Red Room. We started with the Coconut Shrimp, they were huge in a flavorful coating. The lobster Bisque was delicious with chunks of fresh lobster. I had the house salad, the greens and veges were fresh and tasty. Hubby had the Seafood Trio, and I had the Shrimp Scampi. Everything was beautifully plated, fresh, and delicious. We were not able to finish it all. Deserts were taken home. Tiramisu and Flourless Chocolate cake. Yum.I was only able to take a photo of my meal.

My husband and I came here for a cozy pre Christmas date night. The inn has 3 dining rooms with lovely decorations and fireplaces. There's also a more casual bar area. I had delicious bay scallops, the tiny ones only available this time of year. Really nice and cooked so well they were tender and sweet. My husband had the cod, to me a surprise choice it was served with a very mild curry, he liked it very much. He described the cod as soft, which means it was not over cooked. Many places overcook fish but not here. Great service we'll be back.
