I grew up in Morden. I have travelled extensively and I say this without hyperbole. This is the BEST PIZZA in the WORLD. I crave this pizza every day and it physically pains me that I can't have it.
Our first time in Morden for the Corn & Apple festival. We went to Marathon Pizza after seeing people eating their slices out on the street. We went to eat in the restaurant. Older decor but clean and comfortable. Service was quick and friendly. Pizza was outstanding from crust, sauce and toppings. Thick slices of ham were amazing....not your typical processed ham. A really unique dine-in experience. First off, the pizza is excellent. We had the Royal and it was tasty and delicious. Loads of toppings.The unique part was the banter between the senior couple that runs the restaurant. The cook is an 86 year old man and a really kind soul. I felt sorry for him as he was run off his feet working and prepping.
