“They made the dessert table for our wedding and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The consultation process was great, they sent over a tasting box delivered to our door and then they tailor made the table exactly how we wanted to fit our theme. On top of that it was all delicious! Everyone raved about how beautiful and tasty our desserts were. We also opted to use their Bake the World a Better Place cookies for our wedding favours as the local charity was one that really spoke to us and everyone loved their cookie to take home knowing the proceeds all went to a good cause. Plus it was all vegan and nut free, which just couldn't be beat for our wedding and nothing was dry at all. Would definitely recommend them for your wedding needs!“

“All the food was absolutely amazing. The prime rib cooked to perfection, and the horseradish is crazy strong. The meat was to rave about and worth the trip, but I had the grilled veggies and was pleasantly surprised. There was a large variety, and each type was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! “Tonight we had one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had in long time. Menchie is an absolute angel!!! We had our friends over who are expecting their first baby. Decided to order in desert but when we finished the selection and went to order on skip, the store was closed for orders - by two minutes. We decided to phone to see if there was any way to let the order go through but they explained that is controlled by skip the dishes. To make a long story short, when they heard it was for a pregnant, newly expecting mother, Menchie offered to personally deliver our order after their shift ended and the store closed. From a professional stand point she missed a few things, but they were minor. Her friendliness made up for that.My friend invited me to dine with him because he wanted to do the chefs table for 4.The price point was very reasonable for the amount of food served.There were 2 appetizers, 2 entrees (served family style), individual desserts.I'm not a big fan of bruschetta but their version I would give a 5 star for flavor.The arancini balls were a 4 star for me.The chicken dish was delicious and I would order that again. It was off the menu item but is often a feature item we were told. 5 stars.The pasta dish was a bit too al dente for my friends though I thought it was fine. Overall that pasta dish was a 4 for me. You'll have to refer to my pictures since I didn't get the names of all the dishes that night.DessertsFor the desserts I was told the espresso martini was delicious. Too sweet for some, but if you love sweet alcoholic caffeine, this is all your vices in one. (I did not try this one) the consensus was the flavor was outstanding.I had the chocolate cake which was a beautiful piece. 4.5 starThe chocolate gelato was also a 4 star.The canoli was mixed reviews. I give it a 4 star. I actually don't like canolis but I didn't mind it. I think I would eat it had I not been so full. I did have some at the table that didn't enjoy it though.Parking was street parking which is free. Thursday night they weren't busy so we did not have any issues. I did not notice a parking lot.Tldr, great experience having not been there in awhile. I need to go back and try more of their menu items to see if I should upgrade it to 5. This was a 4.5 for me.“

It was unfortunate to see other patrons treat her and management in such a disrespectful manner. It was very busy and being the only server she handled it as well as anyone could have. “It is a great place to go before a visit go Assiniboine park you can generally get it a bowl of soup with some type of toast as well as tea and coffee for around $8 and change. They are however painfully slow and could use a third or fourth staff member there especially around lunch time unless you're getting something to go time yourself to be there for an hour minimum but is a very clean and interesting place has local artwork for sale on walls as well as a games there for people to play. “The sushi is good. My partner is vegan and was very impressed by the selection of options available to her. They also offer gluten free soya sauce. There seems to be lots of takeout happening so it can feel crowded if you sit near the doors. Service was a little slow but not a big deal.“

“We typically go to the Clay Oven on Kenaston as a treat occasionally. We've been going there since their first location opened on Inkster and we always enjoyed it until the last time we were there. We usually order their Thali platters. This time we ordered a Lamb and Chicken Thai platter with the cumin potatoes as one of the sides. It was terrible. The potatoes were half cooked and hard with no flavor. The rice was flavorless as well. Seeing that we always enjoyed it until now we're definitely not going back again. Seeing it's kinda of expensive it's a treat for us we were sadly disappointed.“

The only issue I have if we're always given NUMBERS for pick up but they aren't used. The call out what was ordered but because of the language you don't register until a couple of calls or one is acknowledged from behind the counter. It would be do much easier I think if you just called the numbers!“
