Our stay at the Lake House Boutique Hotel was delightful. The decor was beautifully done, giving the place a cozy cabin feel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were modern. The only downside was the thin walls, which allowed us to hear conversations from the hot tub area and the TV from the room next to us. Ordered takeout online. A burger and a veggie burger. Got a call an hour later when the order was supposed to be ready to say they didn't have veggie burger patties. I asked why it took an hour to call me to tell me that...they said online orders take 45 minutes to come through. Ok. I changed the order and they still got my order wrong. Food was decent but not impressed.

We just left here after spending the week at Elkhorn resort. Lakehouse was the only place open in town so we went for dinner. I had checked the reviews prior to going, but we decided to try it anyway as I realize most people will complain just about anything and I'm sure glad I did. We did not use the hotel - but we were addressed immediately at the coffee shop when we came in.
