I am, or rather was, a regular drive through customer for breakfast at this location (Inkster & Main in Winnipeg) for over a year. I always get the same thing, occasionally the coffee (I get 2 cream) had sugar in it or I get the wrong breakfast meat but I never called to complain to get a replacement because I know it happens when it's busy and I just ate it and moved on with my day. But on Wednesday there was green mold spots on the English muffin. I called as soon as I got to work, gave them my name/phone number and I said please check the english muffins because I wouldn't want anyone to eat mold. I said I will stop by in a couple days to get my regular meal replaced. Today, Saturday, was that day. I walked inside because I thought I would have to sign something that they replaced a meal. The manager said they checked the breads(I ordered an English muffins so maybe they checked the wrong thing?) and she said that's why they didn't call me back. They didn't say sorry, they made me feel like I was lying in front of all the customers sitting at tables.I WILL NEVER spend a dollar at this location again. Between my kids, husband and myself we could spend $30/week and they just lost very good customers. I never write negative reviews but their customer service over replacing a moldy breakfast sandwich saddens me and I'm sure I'm not the only one management has made feel like I did today. I do not go around trying to get free meals, I tried to make sure they knew about the mold before anyone consumed it. I also contacted corporate over the lack of customer service in the website.

Food was quick and fresh, but my chicken burger was mostly hard crunchy batter. Plus it cost almost $40 for 2 combos - might as well have gone to an actual dine-in restaurant! Won't be going back to any A&W any time soon.

Eating cold food is great. So glad I had to turn around and drive all the way back here to pick up a meal they assured me was in the bag. Now my papa combo and poutine are gross and inedible. Incase the staff are too dumb to pick up on it my enthusiasm is sarcastic. Will be calling a manager to get my money back.

We ordered thru uber eats and the food was horrible. The fries were soaked in oil like the oil needed to be changed in the deep fryer. The 3 pieces of chicken strips were the same as the fries. And the onion rings had big globs of seasoning salt on them. The drinks tasted like the tanks needed to be changed. We definitely won't be ordering from there again. We don't usually order out.

My wife and I stopped for a burger and onion rings. We asked if we could have things made fresh and said we didn't mind waiting. The lady was very friendly and relayed the instructions to the kitchen. Was not much of a wait and they brought us the food and it was absolutely the best meal we've had at an A&W in ages. The burgers and onion rings looked like the ones on the commercials and were delicious. We only eat out once or twice a month and we will be coming back soon.

Went here today around 4:30. Ordered some food and a poutine and the guy at the window put the poutine on its side, all the gravey poured out all over the food and the inside of the bag. Made a mess on the seat of my car. More training needs to be done.
