“Was shown this place and recommended the Dumplings and Soup dishes (Apologies, forgot what the exact dishes were called),Not a huge fan of spicy Chili oil growing up but Aroma offered a great, flavourful take on the taste — wasn’t expecting how good the chili oil was!The broth was amazing as well; just as delicious and savoury.5/5Would definitely come back here and order takeout when I’m back in Winnipeg!*****3 YEARS LATER UPDATE:*****Still my Favorite place to recommend friends and family! We’re back in Winnipeg and glad the food is still amazing and yummy!“
“Went to meet up with friends for the new year to have dinner here. They have a kids meal menu, reasonably priced. The menu is of mixed Canadian and Filipino food. I ordered sweet chilli crispy chicken wrap and it was tasty. We also ordered Chicken Tender and Ribs Meal, Battered Fish and Chicken Tender kids meal. The food overall was good, the fries can use some seasoning, I enjoy the yam fries. The service was good, however, the kids did not get their ice cream dessert that should have came with the meal. We were there long enough to have it offered, we only learned about it later on when I looked at the kids menu that my son took home because he drew on the back of it. Since we are not regulars we didn't know. The place also has a lounge area VLT machine and karaoke event. Regardless of the kids missing their ice dessert we had a good visit.“
“Banza Noodle House really hits the spot with their Banza Beef Noodle Soup, especially when you add an extra marinated egg. The broth is hot, spicy and packed with flavor, making it a perfect pick-me-up on a chilly day. The beef is soft and tender and the rice noodles have just the right texture, soaking up all that tasty broth. The marinated egg adds a creamy touch that takes the dish to another level. If you’re looking for a comforting and satisfying meal, this soup is a winner.“
“We dined there during the dine out Winnipeg event and loved it. It was the best tasting food we had during that event and the best food we’ve had in a restaurant for a long time.Went back there for lunch the other day and wereallowed to order from the dinner menu and again, delicious beautiful food! We had the Truffle spinach dip, bang bang shrimp and the Seoul steak, pictured here.“
“I'm very impressed by how large the menu is. There is Korean and Western food available. Dietary restrictions are marked on the menu as well. The food is good, I've had a few different items here and would recommend sticking to the Korean items if you love flavour and spice as the Western items are a bit bland. The Korean dishes aren't overly spicy (unless you ask for it like that) but they have a more complex and rounded flavour than the sandwiches. The fresh-squeezed juices are great. I love the grapefruit-aide.“
“I really like this restaurant. It’s too bad it is downtown that’s it’s downfall. . But that’s downtown Winnipeg. The atmosphere is very open and shared concept. The tequila flights and tequila selection is really lovely. Margarita was ok. Cesar’s were good. Street corn is great. Will come again!“
“This place was very clean, the food was very good. I would definitely recommend. The owner was extremely friendly and always willing to explain or suggest what to try as it had been the first time for us going, we really did not know what to order. Food came out pretty fast. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This place was also very kid friendly, we have an 8 month old, and they had a nice high chair for her and were very eager to accommodate around her.“
“We went in because we wanted something fresh and healthy and was blown away by the food at Peg's Bistro. It was absolutely delicious. The staff were so attentive and great even though we could tell they were super busy with pickup orders. They still took care in our orders and made sure we got what we wanted.“
“we had lunch today there and greeted by a waitress who was friendly and introduced the signature food, seafood shrimp ramen. the shrimp based soup was very rich in flavored. the presentation for the ramen was outstanding and colorful which is eye catching. portion for ramen was quite big! my hubby ordered the cha siu pepper soup ramen, it's mouth watering. the restaurant's decoration was cozy and cs was good, asking us for comment to make improvements. if u can provide lemon vinegar sauce would be perfect. More items to be selected such as dumpling, choice of thick noddle and appetizers etc. I love the logo design. highly recommend to others.“
