“Update:2024Stopped in to have a bite to eat at one of my favorite places, the bar manager recommended the wood burger and it was absolutely fantastic, probably the best burger in winnipeg in my opinion. “The kimchi fried rice - the chicken one was superb! It was flavorful and the portion was easily shareable among two persons. Overall all the dishes were reasonably priced. All the items are prepared fresh right in front of you. The staff is helpful in picking the items too. I would recommend here for a quick lunch.“

We were seated in a pretty empty dining room, in a booth that was by the window, a bit drafty and chilly...we didnt want to be a bother and ask for a different table but wondered why we might not have been asked what our preferences were given the emptiness? “I went yesterday to celebrate my birthday. We were 12 people and we had a blast.I’m Brazilian and had other Brazilian friend. The other 10 people were Canadians and also loved the experience. Brazilian bbq is a different experience so it’s why is important to understand before going. We don’t seat and eat a big steak, the meat keeps coming but are small slices. So you can try different cuts, talk and gather around the table (be prepared to spare 2 hours there). It’s pricey? Yes, but you can eat all you want. Also, on the other reviews talking that the meat is salty, yes, we eat more salt than here in North America. And the grease? We love the grease,fat just take out on your own plate.Vanusse was our server for the night and she was awesome. Also, the rest of the team. I love the food. The only thing that I would not recommend is the drinks. The price is not worth it. We had a good wine that I would recommend.“
