First time the family went here, as our daughter was craving a huge waffle! Found this place in the area we were going to and thought, why not?!The parking area is quite small, as there are so many other establishments in the area, but we were able to find a spot.Quite a few people were already waiting and a very small area to wait in. A great option they have is taking your phone number so they will call you if waiting in your car (cold during our winters here). We waited about 15 minutes, as noted when I asked. There are also no chairs to sit while waiting.Our server was FANTASTIC!!!!! I saved the receipt to remember her name, but now lost the receipt. But it's something like Melina. She works every Saturday, she told us. Lol She was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was not disappointing at all. HUGE potions, delicious options to choose from and served hot. Best sausages I ever had from a breakfast meal too. Bacon was crispy, daughter had a crepe instead and enjoyed every bite! Husband loved his skillet and my French toast was the bomb! Will definitely go back!

I only eat take out cause of my dog.. I called this morning and was told they can't do take out because "systems are down". But they are still open to dine in? It's literally the same thing besides placing an order on the phone. I feel like I should go dine in then take the order to go....so

We went for brunch on a Saturday close to noon and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The service was friendly and rather quick even though the restaurant was quite packed at this time. The food was delicious and servings were very generous. Frequent coffee refills was appreciated. Would definitely go back-maybe earlier on a Saturday.

The promotion was until Feb 18.When we came it ,the Manager says only from Monday- Friday.Make sure when you post a promo it is clear, you know that weekend is busy thats why you wont include the weekend.Not satisfied!!!

I recently visited Ben and Florentine with high hopes for a delicious breakfast experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling utterly disappointed.From the moment I walked in, the service was lackluster and unenthusiastic. It felt like the staff couldn't be bothered to provide even basic courtesy. Someone cut me off and was seated before me even though I was standing right there. I left right after getting seated because of this experience. To add insult to injury, the atmosphere was anything but inviting. The restaurant was dirty and unkempt, with tables left uncleared and a general feeling of neglect lingering in the air. It's clear that no effort was made to create a pleasant dining environment.Parking: Parking is busy and packed.

Had high hopes for this restaurant as we are new to Winnipeg and trying to find a breakfast spot to rival the options on the coast. I don't think that we will be back to Ben and Florentine. Staff was nice enough but really not that attentive. Said that I could substitute toast for potatoes at no charge, then clarified with management, who said no. That's completely fine, but it was the confusion that wasn't great. Hollandaise lacked flavour, but the side of potatoes was large.
