“We visited the Cora location on Waverley Street in Winnipeg on Tuesday, Aug 16, and had the great pleasure of being served by Mimi. Mimi is outright amazing at her job, and went above and beyond to ensure that the 2 members of our party who have food allergies were well looked after. She is knowledgeable, and took extra steps to double check ingredients so that she could make further, creative suggestions. It is clear that she enjoys her job and cares about her customers. Mimi is a fantastic representative for this restaurant that takes pride in offering delicious and healthy menu choices.“

“Good food. Price is decent for the serving size you get, especially if you get a combo! Waffles were nice and everything else on the plate was well done too. Service was nice. Location was busy but food still came out to us very fast. Highly recommend, maybe this will have to be my next go-to brunch spot!“
“Fantastic service the staff made me feel like family very attentive. The food and specialty coffees were excellent I will definitely be returning whenever I'm going for breakfast in Winnipeg from now on. Keep up the great work Cora's staff ? ?“
“We took our 8 year old grandson for a birthday brunch to the Pancake House. Our server Vicki, was absolutely phenomenal! When she found out it was Oliver’s birthday she brought out a candle with his meal and chatted with him about his upcoming birthday party. When we were finished she brought out a signed card for him and $5 inside. We were amazed with her interest in him and her kindness in making this little boy feel so special. Thank you, Vicki!“
“At Sene River Caffe, where the establishment boasts 21 years of operation, I received exceptional customer service. The staff's dedication to providing excellent service, coupled with the cafe's longstanding history, made for a delightful experience.“
“A few months ago I visited Danny’s All Day Breakfast after a morning run, just looking for something to fill my stomach, not expecting much. After conversing with the very friendly staff, I ordered the Pan Scrambler. I sat down at a table, and a single tear drop rolled down my cheek as I took my first bite. It’s hard to describe how good it was. The eggs were perfectly cooked, there was a perfect amount of cheese and veggies, and the portion size was generous. Months later and I still think about the Pan Scrambler anytime I see eggs. Hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.“
“First time the family went here, as our daughter was craving a huge waffle! Found this place in the area we were going to and thought, why not?!The parking area is quite small, as there are so many other establishments in the area, but we were able to find a spot.Quite a few people were already waiting and a very small area to wait in. A great option they have is taking your phone number so they will call you if waiting in your car (cold during our winters here). We waited about 15 minutes, as noted when I asked. There are also no chairs to sit while waiting. Our server was FANTASTIC!!!!! I saved the receipt to remember her name, but now lost the receipt. But it's something like Melina. She works every Saturday, she told us. Lol She was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was not disappointing at all. HUGE potions, delicious options to choose from and served hot. Best sausages I ever had from a breakfast meal too. Bacon was crispy, daughter had a crepe instead and enjoyed every bite! Husband loved his skillet and my French toast was the bomb! Will definitely go back!“
“Overall, I had a good experience here and the server we had was great! I ordered 'The Ultimate Pancake' which came with hashbrowns, bacon, eggs, fruit, and three pancakes altogether. I would say it was a good amount of food for the price. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because it's a bit small for the amount of traffic they get - especially on the weekend! Definitely would come again though.“
“You would think with the smell of bacon lingering in the air it would be tough for a vegan to eat here.Nope just had pancakes plus syrup. Wish there was almond milk the black coffee was stronger then I thought it would be.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“

“Cora's is a reliable choice! The food is always good and so is the service. It seems like they may have changed some of their recipes over the past few years which is why I gave the 4 rating on food... but it's still very tasty! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Lots of fruit and grain based dishes!Kid-friendliness: A generally good family atmosphere. Might be a bit tight for highchairs though.“
“I was only in Winnipeg for a few days and I ate here twice because it was THAT good. highly recommend the mushroom toast, fried chicken on toast, and rootbeer pudding. unique flavor combinations, excellent service, fair prices. and the drinks were great. my husband said that's the best mocha he has ever had. 10/10“
