There's a reason this place is always busy. Excellent food and attentive service are the hallmarks, and they did not disappoint on our most recent visit. The fett chile pasta is the signature dish, and it definitely is delicious. For us, we ordered one and shared it amongst our group of four, because we wanted to try other things. The broccoli starter was very good - an Asian ginger sauce, but complemented interestingly with pecans. Not a usual combo, but it worked well.Spring rolls aren't something I'd normally order (they're often quite plain), but these ones are different and tasty. Worth a try for sure.Bruschetta again can sometimes be fairly ordinary, but this one was really good because it contained more than the normal ingredients. The mixed green salad was fine - not anything spectacular, although the dressing was quite good - but hey, it's a mixed green salad.Prices are on the higher side for the starters, but the entrees are reasonable for what you get (the fett chile for example is a good portion for the price).Service was attentive and friendly, and she had good suggestions. The atmosphere is fine, but due to the small space it can get noisy - if you're looking for a quiet intimate place for a conversation, this isn't it.All in all, a wonderful restaurant that deserves its reputation - and the reason it is nearly always full of patrons.

Pretty good meal, would go back for the pesto gnocchi, it’s much better than the braised beef gnocchi. Seafood cannelloni was meh, felt like the lobster was a bit over cooked it was fairly hard to chew but overall the meal was good, also got lamb meatballs to start which were very tender I would order those again. Drinks are far ti expensive to even try. I cannot bring myself to spend $16 on any cocktail.

Ordered a whole bunch of food, it all came out relatively quick. The pesto gnocchi was the star of the show, also the butter they serve with the complimentary bread is amazing. I'd also suggest the lamb meatballs, so tender and well seasoned. I will be back.

I had a really nice time at cafe Carlo. The food and the atmosphere is excellent. I noted that the server could have been more attentive filling up the wine glasses from the bottle that we purchased.

The food is impeccable. We had the veal and lamb chops. Couldn't be done any better. Only complaint is it gets noisy when the restaurant is full. We are an older couple so that might make the noise a little harder to talk over.

When I booked online I said we had a toddler and would need a high chair in the comments. We never got a call/text or email saying they don't offer high chairs. And they never said anything about it until I asked for one and our waitress said they didn't offer them. I would have preferred to know before hand so we could just go somewhere else

Nothing could have been better. Small eclectic list of choices that made it hard to choose the evenings meal. Everything from butter for fresh bread starter to desert was unique and excellent.

Excellent as usual, if you r a regular, prepare yourself for quite the increase in the prices.

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated very well. Our food was phenomenal, the service was superb, we can't wait to come back and would recommend this gem to anyone who asks!

The service was good. For the food, the gnocchi ragu was fantastic and the lamb meatballs were also excellent. The veal was not really good, it was under-seasoned and the overall plate was greasy, I boxed it up and probably won't eat it at home either. The crème brûlée was missing sugar, the chocolate dessert was really nice.

The food tasted like it was recently frozen and just warmed up for service. The wine was ridiculously overpriced, and desert was bland. I will never go back again and I will continue to share our experience with friends

Food was delicious, went on a busy day causing service to be very slow - but experience was overall pleasant.
