Date night for a couple of old farts. My wife had the soup of the day (chicken potato with a hint of chipotle) and the popcorn shrimp while I had the same soup and the fish and chips. Everything was fabulous. The soup had a bit of a kick to it, the shrimp were perfectly prepared, the fish and chips was huge. Fish was delicious, deep fried but moist and glistening inside with house made fries and tartar sauce.For dessert, 2 Spanish coffees, something we’ve found that few bars know how to make nowadays.Our server, Alexa?, was thoroughly knowledgeable and provided excellent service!This was our first visit to this establishment and we will definitely be back.

Order the burger and is so greasy the bun was soaked with grease and the fries were cold and very salty I had this burger before and it was awesome after tonight I will not have it again.

The food was exceptional. Kudoos to the chefs - great job. The Capital Market Salad was a delight. The other plates looks amazing as well, and everyone loved their orders.The decor was nice. However, it was cold in the middle of the restaurant being a chilly night.The artwork is beautiful and added charm to the restaurant.The service was slow. It took forever for our food to come for 7 people. We noticed people were being served their food when they arrived after us. No one came to update us on the status of our food taking so long. It was a busy night, and they may have been shirt staffed. An update would have allowed more grace for the delay.We never were asked if we wanted any more drinks.They also wanted to charge us $3.00 a person if we brought in a cake for our birthday girl.The food was the highlight. We will likely get take out if we go back again.

This place blew me away!! My wife and I swung by here by chance, decided to try it out, and WOW!!! The food was amazing. ?The soup was incredible, the braised beef poutine with truffle oil was perfect.My burger and fries shocked me at how good they'd be. Honestly I don't think I've ever had as good of a burger. The flavor, just so much attention to detail.You have to try this place out!!!The staff were kind, very attentive, and great!- sincerely some new regular customers

It’s a pretty straightforward proposition: we’ll serve you great food and drink at a reasonable price, promptly and cheerfully. It’s strange, really, how so many restaurants don’t quite get it altogether correctly. Capital Grill nails it. The menu is not cutting edge, just well seasoned platters.

Had an awesome surprise lunch at Capital Grill! Great service, solid vegan options (I tried the quinoa burger ~ veganized) including pasta, and a fun, casual atmosphere. Food is amazing! We ordered the crab cakes and tuna sushi as appetizers, and the steak as main dish. Everything was delicious, cooked to the right point. Service was very friendly, and the final bill wasn't that bad.I just missed some more wine options.
