Visited CIBO Waterfront Cafe today for lunch and was thoroughly impressed! The Arancini was a crispy delight, perfectly complemented by their house marinara and a generous sprinkle of Pecorino. Moving on to the main course, the Tuscan Salmon was A+. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the combination of turmeric rice, creme fraiche, sundried tomato, capers, garlic, and marinated tomato added layers of flavours that were both refreshing and comforting. Highly recommend!

Had a great time at Cibo's once again! The servers and host were friendly and the food was tasty and plentiful in portion. I love the flood of light that comes in through the lovely big windows on the upper level. I would recommend Cibo's for a nice lunch out with friends!!

Me and my husband went on Valentines day, we got Margarita Pizza and Drunken Mushroom both of them tasted AMAZING!It was a nice dinner.

So I tried to book a 4 hour reservation and was told on the phone that they don’t normally do 4 hours but they would make a note saying that I was doing 4 hours. But it turns out that they never made a note and I was told that I had to leave at 7:30 which was an hour a thirty minutes before my reservation was actually over. I tried to negotiate but then they made another fact known to me, the waitress I formed me and my guest that we all had to pay an 18 percent tip a because there were more than ten people. This shocked me as they did not tell me anything about that over the phone. This was a Birthday party. Overall if you want to get your moneys worth there are better places to go to.

Update 03/2024: big change in the menu, did not disappoint!I ordered the grilled octopus and it is worth every penny! Lightly charred, well marinated, excellent flavour pairings! I highly recommend it!Always love being here. Came out with a friend and had a lovely time sipping wine and nibbling.

Such a wonderful experience. From the drinks to the ambiance, to the service to the chef prepared specialities. Truly worth the visit! (Psst, the pancheta mushroom pizza is maybe the best pizza in the city...)
Service would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the host, sighing when we asked for a different table and overall making us feel like we were a bother. Not something you want to hear/feel when you are spending money in the establishment.Our server made up for it, he was wonderful and turned a worrying night into a lovely one. Food was alright, ambiance was wonderful, service (server) was fantastic. Would we go back? Maybe, leaning more to yes.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall is because of the service. We were not greeted in a very friendly manner at the door. I asked if I would be ok parking on the street because the machine wouldn't allow me to pay and he said “I guess you'll find out when you leave!” His tone was not friendly. We were not impressed with our waiter either. He was not friendly. He barely made eye contact and seemed uninterested and distracted the entire time. Always glancing around as if he had somewhere else to be. Granted, we went on a holiday but the staff should still be friendly. The food on the other hand was amazing! We all loved our meals! I want to go back because of the food but if we have the same experience with the staff I won't be recommending it to anyone anymore.

Appetizers and Entrees were absolutely stunning, main course also proved the high quality of cooking, however pizza turned out to be dark and burnt at the bottom and soggy inside, when it was pointed out to the waiter, there was only an argument presented "we make it on firewood", which absolutely great, however opinion of a customer wasn't heard nor reacted upon, even if the taste is burnt and quite obvious. I'd definitely give 5 stars review if the waiter could taste himself and dig into a problem, however problem-solving skills weren't shown. Thank you for the pleasant evening!

Cibo saved the day after we made the mistake of visiting the bar at Carnaval down the street (save yourself -don’t do it)We only ordered drinks and a selection of bruschetta and dessert to go -it was all good. The excellent service (less so at the door but they made up for it at the bar) soothed my pain and encouraged me to trust Winnipeg establishments again.
