Food 4.6 everything was delicious minus the corn! The food came out quickly, the chicken was juicy and flavourful, the ribs were coated with a mouthwatering bbq sauce and the Texas beef brisket was the star of the show, so tender! The corn bread is right next to it ? we ordered extra corn bread to take home as well. They are called "famous fries" for a reason 5/5.The corn tasted like it was deep fried but the coleslaw was one of the best I've ever tried and the beans also have chunks of meat in it too, super rich tasting. If you like bbq this is where you need to go to try yourself

First time we went was not the best, figured try again after a year or so. We had a table of 7. Service was awful had to waive down the waitress for drinks, after about 1/2 hour had to waive down again to order. Food came was super disappointing my brisket was literally a plate of sauce the brisket was so over cooked I couldn't even eat. My kids had burgers 2 out of three were not cooked all he way through I'm talking red. My mom had chicken she said was slimy. The drinks all pop , but two. There was no carbon at all and the two alcoholic drinks were so watered down you would have thought you ordered water with lemon.Was an awful experience and will not be returning.

First time at Famous Dave's in Winnipeg. We've been to one in Wisconsin Dells and it was great. Unfortunately, I can't say that about our experience here. The selection was limited. No steak, no shrimp and no seafood. Mostly burgers. I had the 2 meat combo. Southside Rib tips and boneless chicken wings. The rib tips were not tender. The chicken wings were dry and tough. I couldn't even tell if the meat actually came from wings. It all came in a metal plate lined with paper. Everything was cramped. Disappointed. On their website it was priced at $16.95. I was charged $19.95. I don't think we'll be back. There are other places.Parking: Parking is no problem.
Horrible service!!!I attempted to order through skip, store is now closed error. So I try to call to place an order for takeout, no answer. So I took the drive there to order. Placed my order. The male manager approaches and informs the waitress and myself they are out of roasted chicken. Ok, not what I'm ordering. I pay $70 for my order and was told it's a 20 minute wait so I ran to a nearby establishment. When I returned I was informed that they were out of beef brisket for my sandwiches. She then asked if I would be ok with the pork sandwich. I replied that I did not care for the pork, it was dry the first time I tried it. Ok, we'll give you a refund for you whole order. As I'm waiting for them to figure out how to refund me another waitress walks over and says they will give me the side complimentary. I sat and waited for them to try and make the refund. They were all pre occupied with chatting and hugging each other. I then asked what was going on. "Getting the refund done". The manager that came to assist then gives me cash because they can't refund onto my debit card. She hands me $29. I asked what I was being charged for. The sides, appetizer and dessert. Ok, but I asked for a full refund and shared that I no longer wanted to wait if my order wasn't ready. And that the sides were offered free. She goes to check if the order is ready. It was not. I then asked for my entire $70 back. I then questioned what they were doing for the last 40 mins between ordering and that moment, had they not made my order. They did but now it's been sitting and they don't to serve or to me. Give me my $70 and dessert on the house. I will never be back. Such a terrible experience. And while all this is going in, a young couple sitting waiting for their take out order also has been waiting for her substitute to pork and was over charged. Shame on you Dave, shame.

Update . They called me to see if they could make things right. However, they claim that I got burnt ends . This only makes the fact that they're burnt ends are probably the lowest quality I've ever seen. They did offer me a discount which I did not want. I willingly paid for my poor quality meal. Sadly the burnt ends are not burnt ends. It's poor quality steak that is cubed. Taste is good.

Maybe reconsider elsewhere to eat.
