Fortune Cooking is a hidden gem in the Winnipeg restaurant scene. It is easy to overlook from the outside as it looks more like a commercial spot than a restaurant.The daily lunch special is inexpensive and plentiful. The wonton soup is superb, as is everything else I’ve tasted on the menu. I’m always up for lunch here when I’m in the city.

I love this place, i love the owner he’s so cute and sweet. My favourite thing to order there is their mushroom fried rice !!!! Sooooo goood, usually super busy on the weekends after 7 so we go there during the week.

Have frequented Fortune Cooking for many years. It saddens me to say that the quality has really taken a tumble the last two times I've have been. Both times our food came out cold, our soup was missing it's noodles, and the serving sizes are noticeably smaller.

Si estás en crisis y solo buscas llenar la barriga es el lugar Perfecto Tbe rice was supposed to be a vegetable rice and I couldn’t find the veggies ??and we order chicken noodle soup and in came with fried noodles??? I guess is a Winnipeg standard then we ordered lemon chicken and never found the lemons or the lemon flavour it was vinaigrette sirup the sofas were frozen The food there is soooooo cheap that you get for what you pay for

I've known Sing, the owner ever since he had a restaurant in Chinatown on Logan. He has kept the quality in the food, prices, service, and atmosphere. I strongly recommend Fortune Cooking.Parking: It's a small shopping center, so lots of free parking.

The people here are humble and nice. The food is prepared pretty quickly. My experience today was pretty painless. The customers at this establishment are diverse and order a lot of food. I tried the number 146 Squid with black beans and vegetables. The garlic sauce was absolutely delicious though and the squid was cooked perfectly. Just a bit chewy like I love it! But there really wasn't much beans in the dish. Just a few, like 10 bean beans laid inside. My friend had the number 171 Beef with fried noodles. He seemed to enjoy it. The menu here has a lot of options. I think this restaurant is a 3-4 stars place.

I tried this place for the first time and was not disappointed. Had the BBQ Duck soup and it was so good. It was a nice portion size and the duck was very well cooked. Look forward to dining there again.
