I live less than a block away from here and they have always been so so nice, but recently I had the absolute unreasonable hospitality moment from them. My partner absolutely loves the mini egg brownie the release every March. Knowing this I reached out asking when they'd be releasing them and if I could place a bigger order for her as a surprise. They told me when they'd have them, but not only that, they held off posting about the release to make the surprise even better!! Like who does that!?! People who care do that. People who have hospitality as part of who they are. Just the absolute best!!!! Also their lunches are fantastic, burger week burger is always top notch, but their baked goods are what ya need to get. From the fresh baked breads, to the croissants, to all the sweets!!! Just the best!! Thank you so much
My wife and I went there this morning to try the breakfast. It was a win on all areas. It is very homey and comfortable. The food is excellent. The server was wonderful. Made us feel at home and was wonderful. If you want an experience that makes your day better. This is place to go.

Asked for an almond croissant, got a 'crescent' which was horrible, almost broke my teeth on it. If it were me I would have returned it but my sister was the one to pick it up and she didn't know any better.

French Way has consistently been one of my top picks for brunch in Winnipeg. Although I don't have the opportunity to visit as often since moving away from the area, each visit remains a delightful treat. Today, I enjoyed a lovely brunch with a friend, relishing in delicious food and exceptional service. On my way out, I decided to grab some pastries, only to discover later at work that one was missing, and the one I received was not what I had ordered. Initially, this was a bit frustrating, but the staff at French Way went above and beyond to rectify the situation. They promptly delivered the missing pastry along with the correct one I had ordered. Their dedication to customer satisfaction truly impressed me – such exemplary service is rare to come by these days. I'm looking forward to my next visit to enjoy their delicious brunch and pastries once again!
