i had driven by Garwood Grill many times while going done Pembina and had thought I should drop in and verify all the great things I heard about Garwood Grill. A friend of mine has been going there for about 50 years. The food and service were incredible. This is a family restaurant, and the comfortable welcoming atmosphere is evident. I will be taking some other friends there on March 11th to enjoy an amazing experience. A definite must visit for a great meal and more!

Their pizza is fantastic. I really enjoyed the Garwood special. Basically a Canadian pizza, ham, pepperoni, onion and green peppers.

My GAWD by far the BEST homestyle meals!!! HUGE servings!!!TOP QUALITY service and the BEST freaking housemate pizza out does Santa Lucia ANYDAY and fair priced NEXT LEVEL QUALITY!! Proud they are in my community and I get to reap the benefits of their AMAZING Food!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This Greek family restaurant has been around forever hence the nostalgic decor/furnishings.Very casual atmosphere.I was on google search for 'best burger in Winnipeg' and this place was on the list.We ordered the cheese burger /platter. Instead of raw onions we requested fried.Cheese burger comes loaded with lettuce, sliced tomato & condiments.I removed my lettuce and tomato from the burger. Personally I sprinkle salt and pepper on it to enjoy as a side.Burger is served with a generous beef patty, seasoned perfectly.Fries were good and the coleslaw was mediocre (personal taste).The brewed coffee was very good.Great prompt service.Would I return? I will try the pizza next. (I saw it served to a table across from me and it looked delicious).
