Phenomenal bakery in the heart of the North End, with a long history. Great bagels. Great house made cream cheese. Great selection of pastries. My personal favourite are the apple jacks. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

I loved Gunn's, but I just found out they put palm oil in their bread. Losing a customer isn't a good way to cut costs. It's very unhealthy, used because it's the cheapest oil, and is terrible for sustainability.

My wife picked up a cinnamon bun, 6 carrot muffins and 3 sugar cookies last Tuesday morning. She was very disappointed with the quality. Cinnamon bun and one muffin (threw the other 5 out) were dry and tasteless. Sugar cookies didnt have the quality as before! She won't be back!

One of the best bakeries in the city. Excellent baking; cookies, squares, danties, you name it! Great selection of social foods with great fancy sandwiches as well! Customer service is unmatched with friendly staff, management, and ownership. A must try for an authentic Winnipeg treat!Kid-friendliness: Excellent options for kids treats and cookies. The gingerbread cookies are very cute and fun.

Always yumminess at Gunn’s Bakery. Was going there my mom, who is diabetic. There were three dessert options to choose from, applesauce cookies (12 for $11), apple jacks, and a fruit strudel. Total bill was almost $30!!! The only real downside is the construction that still going on there so it’s a pain to find a place to park!!!

Used to be the "Best old country baking in Manitoba." But since the change in ownership the quality has declined. Nothing stays the same I guess. Used to be the best cheesecake in Canada and now they don't even make it on a regular basis.
