Went for dinner, had the rack of lamb. With cream of garlic soup. Everything was wonderful. From the service, to the excellent food. You were made to feel welcome, and appreciated for being there.

Dined for lunch here and the portions were small but the quality of food was excellent. To my pleasant surprise the price of the meal was about half of what I would expect elsewhere. I will definitely return!

The trout soup was easily the best soup I've ever had. 100%

A wonderful experience, the venue, the food, the service. I had such a good time the first time that I had to go again and take friends. I cannot recommend this experience enough and suggest everyone comes to enjoy it.

This was the 2nd time we were at Jane's. The first time was for lunch, and overall I would have given our meal & service a 5/5. This time... One has to remember that Jane's meals & service are provided by students in culinary art or hospitality. So, mistakes will happen. That being said, expectations remain high. They are not beginners. We were there with another couple. Food: the Paella: dry, no wow effect, shrimps are tiny, not Black Tiger Prawns as advertised, and, beware, chicken bones were included with the dish. Don't choke yourself! Duck Brest: meat was tough. No wow effect either. Striploin: average. We ordered a bottle of wine. The server's hands were shaking. The cork was broken in the process of taking it off the bottle. The very good stuff: the Mushroom Tart, the Lemon Blueberry Mille Feuille, and the Pecan Pie (which, in fact, was a butter tart). As I said, expectations were high. So on that standpoint, this supper was underwhelming.

First time here..All restaurants should take a page out of their book..Fine dining at its best..Superb service.. exquisite presentation..a feast for the eyes..You have the table for the evening...a refreshing change to not feel forced out of a restaurant for the next seating. All servers etc made u feel that they were happy to see u..that u were their priority..Good sized portions..well balancedThe curry squash and parsnip soup was amazing. Flavourful...and separate in the bowl. 1/2 curry, half parsnipA different flavor in each spoonful.. magnificent..

One of a kind setting. Great food at a great price and the menu rotates to keep you coming back for their next creation. Everyone is trying so hard and it shows. Service is always awesome. Bring friends because the venue and food give so much to talk about.

The mushroom soup was the best soup I ever had! Service was great . The only reason of removing one star is that the manager couldn’t accommodate us which is a bigger group of 7 people to one table … we had to be separated. But overall pretty good restaurant.

We have previously attended Jane's it is always top of our list of places we like to have lunch and dinner. Once again, the menu was excellent, the food and drink exceeded many other venues around town, and our server was well organized and prompt in attending to us! Bravo!

This is a must if you are in Winnipeg. It is wonderful that RRC has this restaurant. It's win/win! Diners get the best of what the students have to offer and the students get to show off their talent. A special mention to our server Anu who was an amazing host and represented Jane's in the best possible way.

First of all, I really appreciate the service quality of the server. They are nice and polite. However, I don't quite satisfy with the food quality there.1) The Smoked Tomato Soup. The taste is great and well-balanced. However, when you look at the soup, it seems lightly warm. But when you taste it, it is really very hot. I suspect that soup is reheated by microwave and overheated as well.2) The Smoked Trout Tartine on toast. The ingredients are quite different from the menu. We can't taste any Herbed White Bean spread and Cream Fraiche. It is barely just a fish on top, so the whole dish becomes so dry.3) The Blueberry Tart. The tart shell is seriously under-cooked4) The Green Apple Bread Pudding. The bread pudding supposes to be moist but the moisture of my bread pudding is only 30%. The credit point is the whisky sauce taste good.
