My order of fish&chips (cod) was cooked perfectly, crispy but moist inside and no fishy taste! The fish tacos were fresh and delicious! The service and presentation was neat and very friendly.

Server was very slow. For all you can eat the server rarely came by to ask us and bringing the food. It was a quiet night. The table was extremely sticky. Had to wash it myself. In the next booth one of the servers kept coming to the table and playing with (IM GUESSING) boyfriend. Not to happyThe fish was soggy and for a all you can eat the shrimp and fish were lukewarm not hot.

My girlfriend and I took her Dad here for his birthday. We planned to go just after the dinner rush so it wasn't too busy. When we arrived we stood at the door for 15 minutes while the servers all walked by us, so we sat ourselves. Then waited another 30 minutes before anyone came to ask us if we wanted something to drink. The girl who finally showed up was absolutely miserable and took for ever to return with any type of drinks. If it wasn't for my girlfriends dad wanting to eat there I would have walked right out. I would not recommend this location!

Used to be a great place to get fish and chips. Prices are up portions are smaller and now they charge extra for Cole slaw. Everything was really greasy. Probably won't be going back.

The servers are super friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, the food was meh. I had the fish and chips, and while the portions size and temperature was okay - it didn't taste like anything. Same for the fries. If the food was seasoned, it would make a world of difference.

Pros:- Visited Joey’s Restaurant on Mcphillips Northgate Plaza sometime in June of this year. It seemed to be newly renovated compared to when I can last remember coming here from many years ago, I’d say at least 6-8+++ years? (Clean look).- Ample parking space as it is located within Northgate Mall Plaza.- Waitress/sever was very nice, polite and provided great customer service.- Out of 3 people, the shrimp feast x2 (lemon butter) was ordered with 2 sides Caesar salad and coleslaw, the larger pound (1/2) shrimp ordered (roughly 22$+ tax each), camomile tea ($3) and root beer ($3.25), and for myself the grilled chicken quesadillas with onions, bell peppers, jalapeños and nacho cheese in a soft tortilla serve with sour cream and pico de gallo (price roughly $17.50+ tax) with gingerale ($3.25)Cons:- Due to dietary restrictions I had asked to have the pico de gallo, bell peppers, and jalapeños on the side. This might have been difficult for the cook on this day as this might’ve been hard to separate as this meal is normally cooked altogether. Hence, the quesadillas in the photos posted show as burnt, some parts were able to be eaten though, peeling off some of the burnt soft tortillas. Although it was burnt, the restaurant was kind enough to comp my entire meal.- I would say that the drinks seem to be a bit overpriced? IMO.- The restaurant is now separated from the Northgate Mall, whereas you were able to enter from inside before, that’s okay though.I’d still give this restaurant a 4/5 as the lemon butter shrimp was delicious, the side dishes with my meal was eaten by M and E, and the waitress/server and cook’s effort was still appreciated along with an apology for the burnt meal and a comped meal altogether due to the latter.

I'm a fan of their food, but the prices are out of line. They did a menu change, and now it's just not worth the price. 3 pieces of fish will cost you over 20 dollars, and thats their cheapest fish. They also don't give you the 50 cents worth the coleslaw anymore. Now it costs 3 dollars, and it's a side like the fries. The person told me the prices are higher, but they give you more food. That wasn't the experience i had, I got fewer fries and gravy, about half as much as before. I know some things are controlled by the staff, which is a part of the problem. At the prices they now charge, you would expect more consistentcy. After seeing the portions, i just can't justify eating there. After tip and any other charges, it cost over 30 dollars for a meal. I guess this is what they call shrink-flation. Also, I tried to order online, but they want to charge a dollar and a half for the service, I wonder how long until they charge you to order in-store. I was totally disappointed in my last experience there and won't be back anytime soon. Disappointing!!

The fish and chips is always great here but the fish sandwich was soggy and impossible to eat as a sandwich.Parking: Lots of spots but they are on the narrow side and it is a busy mall.

Went to eat there with my mom for lunch, as we got our food I found a hair in my tocos. I had to go find a waiter to help me, they remade my food. After we finished, we waited about 20 minutes before someone came and asked us how it was even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Not once did anyone come to see how the food was or if we needed drinks, nothing. I was very disappointed with the service we received from this joeys.

We really enjoyed our meals. The fish was cooked to perfection. The table space was a little tight but the atmosphere is friendly with fishing wharf decor. Service was friendly and timely.
