We came for the afternoon tea. Scones were good but the desserts were worse than those we can buy in Walmart. Too sweet and wasn't good looking. I was very disappointed. We couldn't finish any of the desserts. The waiter cleared the stand in the middle of our meal. Feels like he didn't want us to stay there.

I stayed at the Fairmont during the Winnipeg Whisky Festival. Despite a very busy evening at the lounge, my server was attentive, helpful and courteous. The amuse-bouches were great. Mushroom soup and Cobb salad tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. Top marks to the server and kitchen on a very busy evening.

The afternoon tea was fantastic. The scones were warm, and the sandwiches and sweets were beautifully presented and delicious. The service was excellent - we felt like royalty. Thanks so much!

Overall dining experience was poor. At least what I'm expecting is that the food quality should be better than average given that it's a restaurant that's of a famous hotel in Winnipeg. But apparently everything tasted dry, not fresh and feels like it has been premade hours ago. The quality taste cheap. The scones were too soft, the pieces fall apart immediately after first bite, the portion was small, the salmon roe has a strong fishy taste, the whole wheat bread of the goat cheese pinwheel was like from a loave of bread you would get from the grocery store. The sweets were hard, I was expecting them to be soft and moist and the cream didn't taste fresh. The black forest cookie was the most acceptable among all. I understand there's a dining hour limit but considering the time to get seated and waiting for food to be served took a while and ended up feeling like getting kicked out of the restaurant as they have to prepare for the next session. Pretty disappointing personal experience or I just have too high expectations...

Unfortunately the sandwiches and dainties were very dry. Seemed like they were in a fridge on a tray overnight. Crusted bread, dried fillings. Salmon and chicken salad were dried at the edges. Very disappointed. Expected a much better culinary experience for the price charged. Came with a group and we left over half the food.

My sister who lived in England for over a year said the food/ savoury sandwiches were the best she has ever had at an afternoon tea! The food was spectacular. I also asked in the notes section of my ticket purchase if they could add a little extra something special to surprise my sister and this was my gift to her to say thanks for everything you do for me, and the kitchen absolutely delivered and made us a little snack plate that said thank you in chocolate with an extra dessert. Amazing and I will be back for future teas with you!

Food and services were very unprofessional. I was told that there is no maple syrup for pancakes, but then later when we had other problems like serving out unfinished dish, manager came and said if we want maple syrup....

The ambiance was fabulous. My Mom and I really were excited when we sat down. Tea pots were cute and the tea cups bought joy to my heart. The scones were cold and hard, the sandwiches really were awful (feel bad saying this). My Mom didn't even eat one. The desserts were delightful. As for the tea I didn't get a refill on the water until later in the service and the tea I chose just couldn't do another pot and it ended up just a tea pot of hot water. We wanted to inform staff but they were just too busy. Wouldn't recommend to a friend. Which is too bad we were looking to start a new tradition.

All the staffs were attentive and very friendly as soon as we step into the restaurant. The food selection were amazing and nicely presented! Our waiter Rod was super friendly and very impressed with the service! We will definitely return to this restaurant to try high tea that was recommended by Rod.

The venue is gorgeous with original oil paintings of Winnipeg destinations. The table and chairs are cozy and comfortable. The ambience overall is comfortable and relaxing. The service and the food is fabulous. We are definitely coming back!

Came in for lunch with my girlfriend for her birthday! The espresso martini was fabulous, best in town! Maria took very good care of us! The food was amazing, wings to start, fish and chips and the Ruben for lunch! Was a great time

The table we were seated at was quite small and was missing a place seating for a child who was in reservation and confirmed to attend at a phone call. An extra seat was added but there was not space at this table for 3 people to have tea pots so the table was cluttered and not relaxed experience. The sandwich selections were really gross. I have been to about 10 high teas and had the best experiences but the sandwich choices were just like awful. We had to ask for cream. We weren't told about the tea timer. We had to wait for the bill for a long time. The 8 year old kid had fun and enjoyed her kids menu tea but I was happy to leave and did not feel the experience warranted the cost.

We were there on a Sunday Morning, and Im not sure what was happening but the meal was very slow in getting to us. But, the serving staff (Rita) was amazing!! Once we did get our food, it was good. Alot of sorry for the wait came our way, which was appreciated, we understood, the service far outweighed the inconvienience of the long wait for our breakfast. It was actually nice just to sit and relax!!

Disappointed- expected better based on the price point. Mismatched cups and plates ( and a plain brown ceramic tea pot at high tea!) no fresh cup with each different pot of tea, used tea bags left on table to seep onto tablecloth, no tongs for sugar cubes or food, three different scones two people, large tiered tray in front of us. I was expecting fancy and elegant- this just felt meh. Food was okay but definitely bread heavy.

It was a beautiful lunch and something I've always wanted to do. Lots of delicious food. Only thing that I wanted to say was tea wasn't very hot. My moms tea was just orange pekoe and very weak even leaving it steeping for a longer time. Thank you for a lovely time. Highly recommend
