I treated my friend to lunch at Mae Sunee Thai Cuisine at noon. I never expected to taste authentic Thai flavors here in Winnipeg. The three of us ordered seven dishes and surprisingly finished them all. The rice roll, green papaya salad, and fried tofu were light and refreshing, while the beef curry was incredibly tender and smooth. Moreover, the overall cost was reasonable. Newspaper clipping on the wall at reception featured an interview with the owner and her mother. The restaurant has been open for two years now,and the friendly owner hails from Bangkok.

Awesome find for Thai food. Great meal for a reasonable price. Loved the dishes we ordered, some that waitress recommended. The Tom Yum soup was lovely. Always like the coconut milk curry dishes. Sorry didn't get all the names of what we ordered.

The flavours are so wonderful. You know when you see a plated dish and it never fully tastes as good as it looks, or what you think it would. Well, the taste surpassed expectations. Anyway it’s great. Go there!

Ordered the veggie gluten free pad Thai. It was simply delicious. Stepping into this restaurant felt as if the owners welcomed me into their home. The service was great and the ingredients were fresh and flavourful. Will definitely be dining here anytime I am in Winnipeg!!

The server was welcoming, the food delicious - especially the #9 golden basket. While their restaurant is slightly smaller than others, it was a cozy and warm atmosphere.

This restaurant was an instant hit with me the moment I walked through the door! The place is very charming with lots of live plants everywhere, cute ethnic decor and freshly painted walls. The food was SO GOOD!! Delicious!! Some of the best food I've tried in Canada or Thailand. We had crispy tofu, papaya salad, chicken stirfy thing and I asked for a vegetarian version of red pineapple curry. The menu doesn't list many vegetarian dishes, but I know that Thai food can be just as delicious with tofu subbed for meat, so I asked and was kindly accommodated. I enjoyed my curry very much! Thank you! We will definitely be back soon. :)

This is a local business you want to support. Went there on Sunday for weekend dinner, we called in advance and asked about the mango sweet rice. The owner was very honest that they weren’t able to find quality ingredient at the season but still were able to serve sweet rice with other flavors if we step in. The dinning environment is really nice as all tables were clean and the plants were so lively and well taken care. We ordered noodle soup, crispy shrimps, fried pork and of course the sweet rice but with banana! The dishes were well seasoned and properly cooked. The owner was really friendly and shared how she started the business and how the family work together to make great food.
