First time experiencing this restaurant and Ethiopian food and I can't wait to go back for more. If you're unsure the person working was so friendly and able to help suggest items.We ended up sharing "a taste of Ethiopia" and I believe we added a meat dish to it as well. I feel bad that I can't recommend specific dishes but it was all so good!!Fast, efficient, friendly and great food. Be careful not to fill up on injera! I couldn't help myself and ordered extra. Definitely going back again.

The first thing I should say is that we had the fastest service here of any Ethiopian restaurant. I love Ethiopian food but it usually takes forever to get your food. At Mesob we had our food within 15-20 minutes of ordering. We had a couple of combo platters (Veggie and Taste of Ethiopia) which was just right for two people. The food was delicious, although some items weren't as hot (temperature) as they could have been. Also the cappucino and tea we ordered arrived long after the food. Overall a good experience.

The food and the service was fantastic! The person helping us was really friendly and welcoming, despite it being pretty busy. The restaurant had a real local and family feel to it. It seemed like the staff knew a lot of people who came in personally and had conversations with customers. The lighting and decor were also really lovely. Now, to the food! We would definitely eat here again! We had never had Ethiopian food before but were referred from a friend and it was well worth it. We got the "Taste of Ethiopia" dish, which was really tasty, but we enviously eyed those around us who got the vegetable platter -- that's what we will get next time, it looked so good! We had Baklava for dessert, which was also yummy, though I don't think made in house. I also had a glass each of the house red and house white and both were good wines. 10/10 would go again.

The food was delicious, fresh and everyone was so incredibly friendly. I'm definitely going to be back and recommend checking them out. Depending on how busy they get you might wait a little for your food but honestly that isn't a big deal, it was worth waiting a little longer to get a really good meal.

The hostess was so kind and sweet, and the food tasted amazing! They have great vegetarian options as well. I had the veggie combo and got to taste all kinds of vegetables the restaurant offers. 10/10 would recommend this place :)

If I could give more stars, I would! The food the atmosphere and the service was amazing! It is definitely a place to go and spend some time to enjoy. Do not expect \"fast food\". Everything is made fresh. The back story of how the owner endured the pandemic while starting her business is incredible. Definitely reccomend calling to make sure you have a reservation.

Our dinner here tonight was very delicious. Very nicely cooked and presented and the flavors were all very tasty. The service was excellent. She helped us select our dishes and made sure we enjoyed them and had what we needed.

This restaurant is simply the most Authentic Ethiopian restaurant in winnipeg right now. Made me feel Nostalgic. The Decor, Music and scent of the restaurant reminds me of back home. Presentation of the food was on point. Food arrived hot and was very delicious. Food is reasonably priced. We were served by the owner, she was very polite and welcoming. Their traditional Ethiopian Coffee was some of the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Ethiopian cuisine experience.

Unfortunately they weren't listed on Doordash/SkipTheDishes/UberEats during COVID-19 so I haven't eaten there in two years. If anyone knows if this restaurant is still operating either normally or just as takeout please post a review!
