Wonderful 2 hour afternoon perfectly located table by hostess, and attentive server.Definitely needed knife and fork for Sunday's special ..... Mac and Cheese burger. Disappointed when sharing the cheese cake chosen from dessert tray .. looked awesome with all the ? on top as the cake itself was probably 3+ inches deep, but as it was too dry, asked for take out container with extra cherries. Server said she couldn't add extra cherry topping as the cheese cake came that way and cherries were not added to the cake in the kitchen. Oh well. This was 4th time at Maxime's and will definitely come back again.

I came here with my partner for our anniversary dinner, and it was amazing. The food is absolutely worth every penny and our server, Sean, was just as great. The food also came out at a good pace and left us feeling full and well fed. I would definitely come here again.

I took my husband to Maximes restaurant on March 6 2024 for his Birthday. We ordered Veal burgandy. This was a big mistake.The food was absolutley disgusting. The veal was so flat, and thickly breaded with mashed potatoes and veggies ( broccalli, carotts, and peppers). The veal had no flavour, no taste. It was covered all over in a thick ,lumpy gross gravy. The potatoes tasted like potatoe flakes from a box.....they were dry and terriblethe veggies were not bad but cold. We were the only people in the restaurant when we were there.Our waitress was very nice and effecient.We will never go back to Maxines restaurant again. We have been there before and have not been completely satisfied.I don't know how that restaurant is still open and operating.TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Visited this restaurant kind of spur of the moment the Saturday after valentines Day.. we expected everywhere to be super busy, but they happened to have a table available at 7.30, which was perfect.We were seated in the lounge that was pretty busy - only one table left empty and was promptly offered drinks. The server was great, very attentive, and friendly. I ordered from the valentines menu they still had going, the deconstructed beef wellington. It was delicious! Definitely a different spin on the classic. I also tried the soup.of the day which was butternut squash. It was also pretty good. My husband ordered the sweet and spicy calamari which was incredible. I'm not usually a fan of calamari but I would order it myself when we go again.We have been a couple times over the last 15 years and the decor has never changed. A true classic restaurant.All in all a great night, atmosphere and food. Woild recommend if you're looking for a date night or somewhere to get some classic food.

1st time there and not impressed. Ordered the chicken oscar which used to be on the menu with crab meat. I got a cheap frozen chicken breast with a blah sauce and no crab. When I told the waitress there was no crab on it she just laughed and walked away. It also shows a lot about a company when look at their responses or lack there of to complaints. Not professional and will not be going back!

My grandma’s birthday party was here, and they were so incredibly good to her. The food was great, the atmosphere was so classic and fun and happy, and our server Howie was endlessly helpful, kind, considerate, and at one point he even helped us by finding an extension cord for the projector we brought. He was our hero! I have been going to Maxime’s for several decades and it is a very special place.Vegetarian options: Very tasty portabello mushroom “steak”! A few nice veggie options and staff happy to help you find what you need.Dietary restrictions: The staff were very careful and helpful with our gluten-free family members. The best gluten free dessert ever, a raspberry lemon cake!
