Great food made fresh. Salads and sandwiches are great. dark roast coffe recommended. We have light baked snacks from Gunn's bakery here, and get a challah on Fridays. Kid approvedVegetarian options: lots of optionsKid-friendliness: oh these fries...

Love this cafeteria spot. The employees are unchanged and their food is basic dairy kosher. Which the community needs.

I’m hooked on their homemade muffins particularly carrot but if you wasn’t to try something special go for their barley or matzo ball soups.

They have the best food ever and the prices are cheap.

Overpriced. It is so greasy I think they deepfry almost everything. A small, greasy "pizza" with too much cheese and no sauce is over $7. Rip off. A bowl of frozen mac and cheese ( i asked) is $8.50. The bang for buck ratio is terrible . They serve hot lunch to gray academy the school beside it. my friends found 2 hairs in their lunch and the next day another in their lunch. Would not go again.

It is tough to get a good quality kosher meal in outside of Ontario, Quebec or Vancouver, but this cafe nails it. This a dairy meal. Wonderful knishes are a must with sour cream. The only negative is one piece of fish and very little tartar sauce for the fish and chips.

Schmoozer's Cafe is found in the Rady JCC and Gray Academy Building. It is Winnipeg's only Kosher Cafe/ Restaurant that I know of. The food is great, good size portions, and the staff are wonderful. You will certainly be welcomed, treated warmly, and leave when you are ready or full, and the experience will most definitely bring you back wanting more. One great advantage to the location, the expansive South wall of glass; sure to brighten up even the coldest of winter days. Family atmosphere, where you will encounter children of all ages dining, or passing by. I give this little diamond in the hiding a 4+ rating!!!

Schmoozers is connected to the Gray Academy school so I go every now and then. The staff are very nice people and try their best to serve everyone quickly. At lunchtime it is extremely busy, to the point where it may take 15 minutes to get to the front of the line. Luckily you can pre-order. The food is good, albeit unhealthy but keep in mind that it really isn't gourmet food. It tastes good for what it is though. The only real problem is the price. Because it is the only Kosher restaurant in Winnipeg, it has a monopoly on the market. For what it is - fast food, it is way too expensive. For example, a tuna burger (which by the way I recommend) is priced at around six or seven dollars. It should only really cost three to five dollars.Anyway, overall it is a great place to go if you go to school at the Gray Academy, if you go to the Rady Centre for any reason or if you are in the area.
