Service and food was good. Be aware there is a $7.50 charge per person if you do not order a meal, so this is definitely not a coffee stop.Parking: In shopping center. Lots of free parking, however when busy open spots are far away from the restaurant itself.

Have always enjoyed dining at Southdale Restaurant but this morning I had waffles and must say it was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Applying the sirup left the waffle like mush. One big pile of mush. Never again. C’mon Southdale you can do much better than this.

As a long time regular customer, I was very surprised by the lack of attention from staff (Feb 16). Restaurant was not busy. The waitress got my dinner order wrong, but I accepted it as I was in a hurry (this also saved them throwing out the order). It was confirmed by another waitress that my order was incorrect. Then when I went to pay at the till, the cashier didn't give me my bill as requested. I know that the "wrong" order was a higher price - was I charged this price? Also, this was their error but they offered nothing to offset their mistake (a free drink, discount etc.) like other places have done. Aren't customers entitled to see their bill by law? Very disappointed.Parking: Lots of parking.

Menu description did not deliver. Food was mediocre at best. The side salad was head lettuce with tomato cubes. The burger was cold & chili portion so small you couldn't taste it. Food was over priced. Restaurant was very cold. I like to support local but l will not be returning.
