Looks like this location has had numerous issues with service. We unfortunately had another terrible experience. We arrived at 1215 pm (2 people)....by 1pm we had not recieved our food while others around us had recieved theirs and left. The manager was extremely rude and confrontational. Told us that because we ordered pancakes they take over 30 min to make. Restaurant was less then half full. Told manager we'd have to take our food to go as we were late for appointment....she offered no discount...at this point we were 40 min post ordering. She reluctantly gave us $10 off. I can't stress enough how unprofessional and rude the manager was. We will never come here again.

This is an excellent location for breakfast, with a varied menu and reasonable prices. The Cafe Breakfast is well prepared and presented. The breads come from Stella's bakery and are very tasty. The service was excellent.

Arrived at 10 am. Our meals (4 people) all came cold (not even warm) an hour later at 11 am. Two other tables of 4 and 3 patrons arrived after us and left well before us. Restaurant wasn’t full or overly busy. Poor service and manager was indignant. I normally don’t leave reviews but the manager’s attitude was very distasteful and unapologetic. She even tried to say that we only ordered at 10:30. Won’t be back. I certainly hope she doesn’t treat her staff as bad as her customers.

Went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was less than half full.Only 4 adults and 2 kids in our party.Took close to an hour to get our food and it arrived almost cold.After we received our food the server didn't come back to check on the food. Wasn't going to wait another hour so I just ate it.My first time at this Stellas and I wouldn't go back. Food was very expensive and it did NOT reflect the service provided.

Sadly, had to wait over an hour for the food to arrive at the table. Eggs undercooked. Forgot the beverages. No asking of any coffee refill or back to the table if anything else offered. Sadly, had to use English because in the heart of French speaking Winnipeg and the Franco-Manitoban cultural centre, if you can believe this, no service in French. Shameful and below average.
It's the only restaurant/eating place in that area with wifi, so you tolerate the food/quality/

The staff is always friendly.Vegetarian options: You can always ask for substitutions, and they always accommodate.Parking: There are lots of spots close to the building.
