Exactly what I was hoping for. Delicious salmon sashimi, fresh and clean flavour for the crazy spicy shrimp roll. Enjoyed the fried squid and scallops. Everything I needed after a long drive, Cheers and see you next time Sushi
Ordered a bunch of sushi for a group get together. Everything was tasty and fresh.They even threw in a large complimentary order of spring rolls. Thanks!We ordered in advance and it was pretty much ready on time, we waited a few minutes for it to get all bagged up (quite a large order).Staff were friendly.We did take out. The restaurant itself was simple and fairly basic, but was cozy enough looking and clean.

I’ve been eating sushi since the first Japanese Restaurant opened downtown over 25 years ago.Now, this place has earned a name as my top sushi spot.No SHRINKFLATION at this place. Huge portions of extremely fresh sashimi, and Nigiri scallops, surf clams (they use whole instead of most places which use halves). Massive rolls filled with intelligently selected ingredients and fresh everything from asparagus to the perfectly cooked and fluffy seasoned rice.The IKA was perfect and creamy. The knife work rivalled japanese sushi houses in Vancouver and Montreal.Do them a favour south winnipeg, call in your order and pickup your food so these folks can make a living without massive SkipTheDishes fees. This will keep them around and profitable!6-Stars!!

I sat down today to grab lunch. The Sushi, soup, and water all tasted the same- and not good in a good way. Waiter was very short, wait time was 25 minutes, and I was one of three people in the restaurant. Will not return.

Everything was wonderful! The service was good, fast, and attentive. They knew when we were ready to order and brought out water before we even got to ask. Food quality is one of the best especially for the price. Thickest slices of sashimi and all the ingredients were fresh.This place is a gem and I’ll be sure to let my friends and family know to come by for sushi! :)
Sushi was fine but the service was terrbile. We waited so long for someone to come to our table I almost decided to leave. I estimate that the table next to us waited 20 minutes for their beverages, and we were the only two tables. It wasn't busy in house at all, but the main server appeared to be busy in the back with other things. Ruined the whole experience.

This sushi is so delicious! I came to visit my mom for a couple weeks from out of province and we found it on door dash. Did an order and it was so yummy. The next week we decided to dine in. The green tea was the best I’ve ever had and again, the sushi was delicious! I will probably squeeze in another lunch there before I head home!

On other days, they let out a sigh of frustration when they see me and tell me to have a seat without any greeting.Just now, he told me to have a seat while he was preparing my order. However, he didn’t realize, until he was finished and until I corrected him, that he was preparing the wrong order.I also didn’t receive an apology for his mistake nor did I receive a thank you for patiently waiting.The nice lady has been the only consistently polite employee here. However, everyone else has been a lot more negative than positive lately.Unfortunately, it’s starting not to feel very welcome here.
