The staff was nice and polite. Unfortunately the food was one of our worst experiences. Every dish was a 1/5 and did not resemble Japanese food. Will not be returning.

Too expensive for gross and bad quality food. Wouldn’t eat here again.

Aesthetic plating, high quality food, and kind servers. Definitely recommended!!!I usually have take-outs, but there absolutely are the advantages of dining in where I can fully enjoy the various aesthetic platings and the food that has been served right away. All the sushi rolls that I've tried so far are most popular, however other menus such as "Chicken Karage" and "Agedashi Tofu" are also top-notch in terms of their uniqueness and quality.Another thing that stood out was the easy access to a highly clean washroom.

Super friendly staff and a feel like home vibe. With free appetizers. Clean and neat felt very premium quality service overall. If you ever go I would recommend TNT salmon sushi, hands down best in Winnipeg.Vegetarian options: Has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options which in a whole attracts all sorts of customers.

Thank you Wafiq (I think that was our waiter’s name) for an enjoyable dining experience. Sushi usually does not disappoint here. I would come back just for the nice service!

Sushi Kuni was our favourite sushi joint pre-pandemic, and then, unfortunately due to the pandemic and just the business of life, we haven't been able to return in a long time. We finally went again the other day, worried that it wouldn't live up to our memory of how great it was. Fortunately, I am so happy to post that it is still as absolutely delicious as it used to be! I cannot wait to go back again. We had an assortment of different rolls, sushi, sashimi.. And even this time got udon yaki, which was absolutely amazing. All the food was delicious.

A year ago I would of said this was the best sushi in winnipeg but now it's the worse in the city! The rice was hard the amount in the middle of the sushi was so small it didn't tease like anything and to top it off the young guy and girl making it kept whispering to each other and smirking at me like they did something to the sushi. I would go anywhere else, You will be disappointed if you eat here!!

I always enjoyed this restaurant, but today I went, I was seated presented with a lunch menu the server told me with the lunch menu then came back 5 minutes later when you ordered and said you can talk for lunch menu. Oh, how are we supposed to know what your lunch menu time is over if you don't tell her and you give it to us to order off of? They were training staff so it was three or four minutes past 2:30 p.m. Chole who claimed to be the owner said it was past 2:30 p.m. and we could not order after we already ordered. Got into a verbal dispute. I was a consumer, and I would never go back to this restaurant. Why should I spend money in a place that is so ignorant of training their employees? The worst experience. The attitude...the eye rolling! I was actually afraid that her eyes were going to get stuck in the back of her head as she was trying to contemplate that it was 2 to 3 minutes past 2:30 by the time we did our order it was the lunch menu that was offered. and we were told and gave the order, and then it was we can order other stuff. Unbelievable where's the customer service screw covid. Cuz it's over and customers want customer service plain and simple. I pay for a service. I pay the restaurant the owner, Etc, to provide a product that I want to eat. I take my time my money to go to this restaurant to be treated like I wasn't worthy of the menu. Ridiculous feeling. We want customer service and we want it now!

First time visiting and we will be sure to come back. They had gluten free options and everything tasted fresh and delicious.Dietary restrictions: They have listed beside each roll if it's vegan or gluten free.

My partner and I have been here many times and used to really enjoy it. We will not be returning. I don't remember ever having a bad experience, they may have recently gone downhill. We called to order in, and upon picking it up were surprised by the $75 bill for a relatively small meal for two.We were even more disappointed once we got home with our food. The $15 caterpillar roll was the same size as regular rolls, and the worst I've ever had. Everything tasted old, the avocado was overripe and we did not feel good following the meal.We regret having gone out for food this night and would not recommend Sushi Kuni.

Good food. Each sushi roll had plenty of fish and the ingredients seemed fresh and tasty. Rice is seasoned well and overall a good sushi place. We went during lunch on a Friday and did not realize how slow service would be at this time. The place was pretty quiet at first but with patrons coming in to dine in for lunch and takeout and delivery getting picked up, it got pretty crowded and the service was incredibly slow. We didn't get our orders taken for at least 20 minutes. The restaurant was decent and clean.
