Met out-of-town family at The Forks, had always had good breakfasts at The Pancake House there in the past. I’ll keep it brief:Service: we had two separate servers continuously visiting us, each unaware of the other for a while. Coffee refills were as frequent as the $3.79 price would make you hope for.Food: I ordered eggs over easy, sausage, hash browns, and pancakes. I received eggs basted hard (totally solid, clearly not flipped but also covered in oil), pork sausage that was so overcooked I was considering whether it might be beef, barely-cooked and oily potatoes, and flat pancakes. YOU’RE A BREAKFAST RESTAURANT and yet I can make each of these better at home on my worst day. Somehow it was $15.99.Atmosphere: on a quiet Friday our group of six was seated at a booth with a small table pushed against it *because there were no six-person tables*. The whole place is a bit shoddy, with exposed repairs on the walls, scrapes, etc. Not a lot of pride in the dining room.I didn’t want to send my food back due to some dynamics in my party, but also found out later that every other person who ordered food was similarly disappointed. It wasn’t a small cheque. This has been an anchor tenant at The Forks for decades, and I don’t wish them ill at all, but if this is what they’re offering in that tourism prime location and for those prices - and versus the quality throughout the rest of the building - I fear it may not be long before they go the way of the other FSRs and close soon.

Service was so bad. Waited long for water refills, server would purposely not look at us so they wouldn't have to help us. Do not recommend this location!

The staff is very rude and without basic manners, the food is frozen that’s heated up and very tasteless. The service is pathetic and poor quality. Don’t waste your money at this

Friends of ours went to dine at The Forks. They were visible POC. After a 30min wait they got a call and when they went up and asked to be seated they were told to wait as there was no table ready and now were 4th in line. The hostess then denied that they had received a call. When they provided proof she left and sent someone else to deal with them. Racist behaviour needs to be addressed
Such a rude behaviour and racists. Never come again

The service my Oma, daughter and myself received today was above and beyond! Food was great, well priced and portioned accordingly and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

We took our 8 year old grandson for a birthday brunch to the Pancake House. Our server Vicki, was absolutely phenomenal! When she found out it was Oliver’s birthday she brought out a candle with his meal and chatted with him about his upcoming birthday party.
When we were finished she brought out a signed card for him and $5 inside.
We were amazed with her interest in him and her kindness in making this little boy feel so special.
Thank you, Vicki!

I was with a day program that day but the guy who served the rest of my group was really nice.
