I use to absolutely love this place, now it is the worst place I think I have gotten as far as takeout pizza. I could have gotten better pizza at Walmart in the frozen section! Crust was bland, there were tacky hand written signs “printer is broken sorry we can’t give receipts” “no fountain drinks only canned” there were no canned options either.. the cheese is definitely some cheap bland mozzarella with the wrong consistency.. parm is cheap kind not real like it use to be. Everything was a disappointment and it was like a dirty ghost town. I will not be going back, this should not be aloud to be considered a zah pizza as taste was not even close to any I have had in the past. Also the “Ellice specialty pizza” that was promoted on a sign there was not available as they were out of teriyaki sauce to make it, of course they were. ?

I used to love to go to Za Pizza. I haven’t been there in 3 years or so - partly because of that reason we all know (the C-word: Covid). Partly because it’s not that close to me. So it’s always been a treat to go. The food wasn’t as good as it has been - it was ok. The toppings were about the same. Was it the dough? The sauce is definitely not as good (I like the white sauce as I always have a chicken pizza). Something was different. Was it better than other fast food options? Maybe The staff were friendly. One even wished me a safe flight as I mentioned I was going to airport the next day. I definitely appreciate that they use gloves when handling food. (Places that don’t wear gloves scare me). Although I’ve always had an issue with Za Pizza that they touch one food, then another - cross contamination is a problem. Why can’t they use scoops to measure food then if needed pour that food into their hands. If I’m allergic to mushrooms (and I have a friend that is extremely allergic to them), then most of the foods, if not all were contaminated by those mushrooms since they touch all the foods with the gloved hands. The restaurant looked tired, and sad. Drink machine not working. Nothing in cabinets. Then- no water in washroom. I guess the battery for the tap was not working? And while washroom was clean-looking- someone had left filthy tissues on floor. Maybe they had only been on floor for 5 minutes. I hope not all day. I hope they check washrooms frequently. (As soon as I left my table, they rushed to clean it, so I think possibly they clean washrooms frequently. They do need to check to see that taps work).

Worst service ever! No 14 inch pizza, no receipt, no foundation drinks. The pizza was terrible and burnt! The workers were super unhelpful! Overall terrible service! Never would go back to this location! The other locations were amazing and great food!

Unprepared for lunch service : We placed an online order on the Za Pizza website at 10.00am for a 12.30 pick up the same day. Order was processed, money was taken - nothing unusual. When we arrived to pick up pizza - no one knew anything. A dumbfound looked graced the single employee’s face. She said the printer didn’t work plus Za Pizza doesn’t “really” take online orders. In the restaurant, only one worker could be seen plus 2 tables of customers. Another couple came in after us but left due to zero service.The one employee made the pizzas although items shown on the menu when ordering where no longer available. So revisions needed to be made, and no alterations to the bill were made. After the ½ hour wait we finally got 3 pizzas. We were given a single can of grape pop that no one wants as a “sorry for the inconvenience”.I would say they are not "open" for lunch.

Came in at 6:30 and the store closes at 9 pm and they had nothing stocked was missing my fav pizza sauce and was out of chicken and when I asked if I could get some I was told no because they did not want to open any more for the night we also wanted a dessert pizza and was told they couldn’t make that either. I understand that if it was 30 mins till close but 2 and a half hours before to me is insane. Was very disappointed with the service

We won’t be back. We gave this location the benefit of the doubt last time when ingredients and items were missing but it seems official now this ZA must be going to close soon. So many ingredients were missing, the toppings they had were used so sparingly it was like pulling teeth to get a pepperoni on each slice. The drink machine is still broken oh well but the bottled drinks they had to offer were frozen water bottles or orange juice. Both employees working seemed ready to clock out for the day or really don’t enjoy their jobs. They spoke to one another in another language the entire time one guy made our pizzas. They seemed annoyed that they had to get our crusts ready. A few times they forgot to ask what items we wanted on each pizza like the cheese and started making the two pizza we ordered identical. Once the pizzas were finally ready we inquired about dipping sauces trying to save our bland pizzas but we were told they had none. The overall taste was no better than a store bought frozen pizza with less toppings. None of the ZA taste was there. Super dissatisfied and disappointed as this use to be our favourite pizza spot. As I said we won’t be back.

Well they happened to be out of many toppings this visit, not sure how long that notice has been up ? So this took the taste away from the ? pizza , which was not great..mine was slightly brunt on edges as well. Has changed since my last visit about 2 years ago. Then I remember how delicious my pizza was ?

I was craving for a dessert pizza, so I went to Za Pizza around 8:30 and ordered a rocky road dessert pizza. I was really looking forward to it but was dissatisfied with the whole experience. The staff who greeted us was wearing an airpod on one ear which made it difficult for him to hear our order, yet he still did not remove it through the entire time he served us. He and the other staff looked like they didn’t know how to make the dessert pizza and they kept referencing to the guide. They were speaking in their language so we couldn’t understand what was wrong and what was going on whenever they would go back and forth to the reference. They both took forever to assemble the pizza. The vanilla ice cream that was used was old and pre-scooped into a clear plastic container. When the staff took it out, the ice cream was in a melted form but frozen, if that makes sense. It seemed like they have pre-scooped their ice cream and put it in the clear plastic container which has melted prior to putting it in the freezer again. Also, the staff scooped the ice cream from the clear plastic container with a spoon and the bottom of the ice cream had a different color to the top. It was a vanilla ice cream but the bottom was yellow and watery. The staff explained that the water dripped down and got frozen. We had to remove the ice cream on top of the dessert pizza and throw it away in the parking lot because it had a weird discoloration and was sketchy of its quality. We did not even get a full scoop of the ice cream. Overall, it was a really bad experience at this location and very poor quality. I would not recommend buying from here and I would not go back again. I was very disappointed with the service and the food.

Then they have plenty of toppings, to include cheeses, meats, and vegetables for you to create your perfect tasting pizza.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of veggies for someone to choose from. It's made fresh in front of you so you can choose what you put on your pizza.
