These people do not know how to cook Caribbean food, being a Caribbean girl that’s not how you cook oxtail. Damm food don’t even have enough seasoning it taste more like pepper pot instead of oxtail. too expensive to taste like this I regret I even buy it.

Very very disappointed again…… First time we bought goat curry and oxtail with rice that was tasteless j*** chicken today oh my God I don’t know what I am eating my six years would cook better than this cook……. Please change that cook, today food tasteless again your j*** chicken is very very dry, the rice is look and taste like 2 or 3 days ago it was cooked, The spinach and okra is one of the worst that I ever eaten You guys need to do better than this!!!!smfho I would never ever buy from you guys again respectfully…..

Update: The quality of the meat has gone downhill. The flavor is great still but the last couple times, my chicken was too dry to eat and my husband’s goat was rubbery.Best Jamaican food in Harford county! Don’t even bother going to any of the other places. Good portions and great flavor.

Five stars for the food!! My bf and I are vegan and the vegetarian menu is all vegan as well so we were super excited! Both currys were so good, great flavor and loved that it was piping hot when we picked up the food to go. The meals came with rice, plantains, and veggies which were also super tasty. We got a medium in each and had leftovers. Highly recommend coming here on a chilly afternoon for some hot food :)

I ordered j*** chicken last Friday from Doordarsh and it was absolutely delicious.... I go into re order the same thing today and as I am waiting I hear the microwave go off.... she then brings my food out, package it and gives it to me. I get home and eat my food and it tasted just like reheated chicken ??♀️. The 1st time I ordered it the sauce was delicious and the chicken was soo juicy and falling off the bone, this time I did not have the same experience. The inconsistencies with the food is a problem for me and the fact that she reheated my chicken and gave it to me with no care in the world is beyond me. She could've reheated in the oven or something but I def. Can taste the chicken from the microwave

Rice and peas & oxtail are not really that good. Rice & peas were dry, tasteless and felt like it’s been sitting out, oxtails felt fatty and consisted of mostly bones and not good. Cabbage was tasteless and too soggy. Didn’t meet my expectations compared to the other Jamaican restaurants I’ve ate at. But plantains and bbq chicken was good! But upset because I asked for a lot of plantains and was only given 2.. not exactly sure why to that, hope you guys can pay attention in the future to modifications customers want to add. But I will not be ordering here again, and also for future customers.. do not recommend! There are better places. Whoever is in charge of cooking the rice & peas or Jamaican food here are putting the Jamaicans to shame.

Stopped by this little place for something different. So glad we did. Food was excellent. My son had the oxtail which he loved. My daughter and I had the BBQ chicken. Sides were loved. Rice and beans. Cabbage and plantains. We will definitely be back.

I have read the previous reviews and was a bit shocked. My experience is as follows. Rolled up to the restaurant close to closing and man my food was spot on. I got th j*** chicken, rice, cabbage, and plantains. The food was so fresh the chicken came right off the bone I would definitely come here again if I'm in the area.
I think they are j*** seasoning is outstanding. I’ve eaten a lot of j*** chicken in my life but I could put their j*** on a piece of shoe leather and I think it would taste good. Wish they sold their j*** by the gallon:)My only criticism would be that the chicken itself isn’t very plump

The most authentic spot I've come across compared to other ones in this area. My go-to is the rice and peas with cabbage & either j*** chicken or curry chicken and it's always fire. It's affordable & the portions are large! Tried their macaroni pie for the first time yesterday and it's made with love y'all.

I order lunch from here every other week. I love the macaroni pie. I love the ginger pineapple drink. It has just the right amount of a kick. The meat patties are really good also. I'm glad I discovered this place not to far from work.
