Waited over an hour at the restaurant with no update on my pickup order after being told the wait would be an additional 5-10 minutes. No food to review. Horrible customer service.

Today was my 1st time ordering from this place and the food was excellent! I ordered two catfish dinners, smothered pork chop dinner, kids chicken tenders with fries, sides of potato salad, collard greens candied yams and cornbread. Every single item was perfect! The corn bread and candied yam was not overly sweetened like how other places are. The entrees were all cooked and made to perfection. I took a gamble on placing a large order and I don't regret it! The inside of the restaurant was clean and I was greeted right away. The staff was outstanding and lastly my large order was correct with nothing missing at all. The fried chicken or fish is Packed with flavor .. I swear I haven't had it this good in a long time from any restaurants in the area! This is the best chicken and fish spot and the pork chops , ribs, good sides.. I will definitely order again.. Oh and please give Us more mumbo sauce in the cups Lol!

Food was just okay. Greens had too much vinegar, chicken wing needed a little more seasoning, sweet potato pie had this hard crust on the top with what I think was a sprinkle of cinnamon toast crunch seasoning. Mac & Cheese was good. Cabbage was just ok. Sweet tea could use a little more sugar. For the prices they charge everything's should be on point!

The host was welcoming and the service was great. The grilled flounder was well seasoned and cooked. We enjoyed everything that we ordered, especially the greens. Only regret is that we didn't have room for dessert.Vegetarian options: They offer a vegetarian platter. Several vegetarian sides.Dietary restrictions: We have a dairy allergy and our server was able to tell what had dairy and what didn't.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 10 year old - no problems.

I reserved a space for 25 people for a birthday dinner. I reserved the spot almost 2 weeks prior. The night before the dinner I called B.B.U just to make sure everything was in order only to be told they booked a Private Event and our reservation was canceled. The fact that it was canceled was bad the fact nobody bothered to contact me to inform me it was canceled was worst. I had family attending this dinner and if I didn't call to check on this event we all would have wasted our time and ruined my wife's Birthday by showing up at B.B.U. only to not be let in.This is why I can't get into Black Business or White Business cause I support Good Business.

The food was great!!! The drinks were decent, I feel like the place is fairly new but I liked the environment. I had the ribs, collard greens and rice....my lady asked for chicken and catfish but got shrimp and catfish. Everything was great, we truly appreciated them bringing out some catfish to compensate for the mixup. We enjoyed the food, the place and the ppl. Definitely will be back.

It should be posted on website that you have to pay in advance because others ordered and did not pick their order up. We should not be penalized for others. Now we have to wait almost an hour for food.

Stop sleeping on this food & give it a try...it is delic...they are starting up in a location that has much in which to choose with regards to restaurants and fast food so give them a chance to gain consistency...my fav, fried whiting and the sweet potato pie...yum!?
