Apparently, a well-known staple in the area. So I decided to check it out. I ordered a turkey club with fries. Fries were pretty good. The turkey is roasted every day I believe, which is a plus, and it was stacked with a great amount of bacon. Took a couple of bites and noticed a long blonde strand of hair in my sandwich. ?!! $13.00 wasted. Sandwich in the trash. My job involves travel, now I have to go somewhere else and spend more money for lunch because I have now left the area and can't get back to Accokeek.

I have been riding past this place for a while and decided to stop by and see what it was about. I wish I kept driving by!!! Ordered a half smoke, and it was a hot dog. The cheese steak tasted terrible and smelled old. One bite, and I spit it out. The fries were old. The big thing after that is I spent $35 for this trash. Overpriced and underrated!!! DONT NOT GO HERE!!! SPEND YOU MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! ?

They USED to be good so I understand some of the high ratings. Their price hike was one that threw me off. $22 (20.09 plus tax) for a steak and cheese sandwich is absolutely crazy. It wasn’t even good. The fries tasted old, maybe they need to change their grease, so I asked for fresh fries and that female with the blonde hair offered to warm them up or I had to pay for fresh fries. Seriously, who wants microwaved overpriced French fries? She has a nasty attitude, they threw my fries away without giving me a chance to weigh my options and really thought I was going to pay for them. The manager on duty said they’d replace them for free but gave me the fries that was dropped in fish grease. At this point to decided to never go back. They charge restaurant prices with ghetto McDonalds customers service. The price does not match the quality of food or service.

Love this place. Vinegar base NC style barbecue is outstanding. Onion rings are the best. They always have good deserts as well. The worst thing about retiring is I don’t pass this place as often as I use too.
This is a classic carry out, its has a real family feel to it. Plenty of options to choose from. I ordered the onion rings with the steak & cheese. The onion rings could have been better, no flavor or seasoning they were crispy though. The steak & cheese was cooked well but also could have used some seasoning. Overall I enjoyed my meal I will return, i wanna try some other menu options.

This was my favorite spot for steak and cheese. I drive all the way from SE dc to get them. But the other day I got a steak and cheese. The meat was so tough. I couldn't chew it. The whole sub was like that. I had to spit it back out. I wasted 20 dollars on that food. Plus my time and gas. I don't know who's back there cooking now. But yall need to find some new cooks. Some good steak that isn't so tough.

They used to have the best steak and cheese and homemade onion rings. Not anymore. The onion rings were burnt and tough. The steak and cheese barely had any mayonnaise or cheese. This place really went down hill. I don’t know what happened to them. I guess they can’t find good help anymore. We were so disappointed. I guess we won’t be going there anymore.
