We've been here many times over many years. Tonight was an off night, by comparison with prior visits. Service was slow and a bit clunky (2 orders messed up, both corrected). Food was good, but not as stellar as it has often been. Usually 4-5 stars; tonight was only 3.
Great food and service in the ambience of a Parisian brasserie. Wine specials included a bottle of Sancerre Rouge at a really good price point. The charcuterie board is a classic French appetizer with authentic French bread. Our entrees were the roast half chicken & frites and the sautéed veal with mushrooms in calvados. A bit of a mixed bag really. The food overall was good: I had the veal scaloppini, which was very good, and the others in my party enjoyed their food as well. The dessert was also good. But the charcuterie plate was very mediocre (and I'm French so it's not like I haven't had charcuterie before, it tasted like something you get at Safeway, sorry) so I'd recommend to stay away from that one.
