“After we were turned away from Harry Browne's because there was only one waitress and she couldn't handle additional guests, we saw this place and were delighted by the woman at the counter who was so warm and friendly and a pure delight. The food was delicious and came out FAST! We were surprised at how quickly 5 orders (sandwiches, salad, and loaded potatoes) all came out boom boom boom .... but the woman at the counter said it best, "we've been doing this for 28 years, we have it down." I loved seeing her chit chat with customers and making them each feel welcomed. Definitely loved the service and the food and wouldn't have even thought to try it until we stopped in front of the cafe wondering where to go eat at 2pm on President's Day. Definitely recommend!“
“Neighborhood friendly crepe place! They have a lot of great options for sweet and savory crepes at a great price. It is designed to grab and go with a little outside seating, but not much. It is perfect to eat while walking around Annapolis. We love this place and come every time we're home. You don't really interact with the employees as they just take your order and hand you your crepe.“
“Terrific food, service and atmosphere. There are enough options to satisfy the most discriminating diner. As a keto eater I had no problem selecting the smoked salmon egg Benedict without bread and fruit instead of potatoes. Custom orders are no problem and the service is so friendly. Even the owner comes and serves coffee. You’ll not be disappointed here!Vegetarian options: Custom ordered for you.Dietary restrictions: Whatever you chooseParking: Wheel chair access from parking garage is simple.Kid-friendliness: Seated properly and served with care.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor and wide doors“
“Just found this place while in Annapolis. Needed to get a quick bite to eat and the Corner Cafe was close by. What a good choice. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Large portions and fresh ingredients. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Keep up the good work guys!“
“This was my first time at this location. Rise makes great coffee with several varieties and flavors available. This location is small and when we got there, the line was out the door. There is only enough room for maybe 4-5 people to stand in line inside, so I'm sure if it was busier, the line would go out through the parking lot. The staff was very friendly and the coffee service is quick. They also sell bags of coffee and apparel options which we took advantage of. There is limited seating inside consisting of 3-4 tables and they were all full. They also have gender neutral bathrooms.Except for the quick serve breakfast sandwiches, the other food items come from a trailer behind the building. The food took a while to come out. There is also limited seating outside which would be really nice if the weather was a little warmer. The food was delicious, hot and fresh, but since it was cold outside, we ate in the car. I would consider ordering ahead if possible unless you don't mind waiting a while for food.“
“Love this place! Had read about it and tried for first time with my husband after shopping at Home Sense. Different set up. Entrees are in refrigerated shelves. You select, and either take home, or they will microwave there and bring to your table. Just a few tables without lots of room between them, and a counter with several stools. Food quality is wonderful! Very fresh, regional, and great for dairy free, gluten free, plant based. Tom had Pad Thai, I had Honey Chicken with rice, each about $14. Filling, fresh veggies, not too salty and great flavor! I mistakenly thought mine didn't have soy, and it did, but it was on a list on darker background on the label, up from where I looked first. Still OK. No real problems. Tons of healthy bakery choices.... we had Eskimo Bars ($5.75 for four pieces), with dates, coconut, cacao, oats, maple syrup etc. dairy and gluten free.) We each had one at lunch, and we have two left for later today. He had espresso, and I had a Vietnamese latte. Total was about $43, but really enjoyable and different. They started as a food truck and now have locations in St. Michael's, Easton and Annapolis (near Trader Joe's). Staff was just super. They have a great mural with their timeline, from food truck in 2016 until now. I'm a fan!Dietary restrictions: All products have ingredient labels. Good choices for plant based, dairy free, gluten free. Their niche is healthy, wonderful baked goods with no white sugar. Entrees... the labels have two ingredient lists.... one with the "main description," and one with the full list. I made the mistake of thinking mine didn't have soy, and it did.... I didn't notice the list on the darker background. Staff is really nice. Espresso bar... alternate milk choices, plus teas and smoothies. Really geared towards dietary restrictions, but with enjoyable, tasty food that I didn't think was overpriced for the quality.“
“I spent my summer in Annapolis and this place was my little safe place while there. So cute , everything is delicious and the coffee is great. I wish they delivered because now that I’m back home I’m been craving ?. Thank you for always a great experience and delicious sweets.“
“Loved coming here for a quick causal breakfast. The food is great and the prices are even better! Super reasonably priced for the quality you are getting. I ordered the poached eggs with steak and hash browns. They even let you have a croissant as your choice of bread. My mom got the egg and cheese sandwich because she is vegetarian. Also they are small dog friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!“
“Visited for the first time, while in the area from TEXAS. At first impression, it looks really small from the outside. I had a rice and chicken soup, coffee and some dessert and it was all very good. We would come back, since the female behind the counter was friendly and we felt welcomed.“
“The BEST pancakes I’ve ever had. Holy moly. Cinnamon roll pancakes? Amazing. Whoever thought of that idea is genius. Staff is friendly, food is delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough. Also, they make their iced coffee with frozen coffee cubes!! GENIUS!“
“Friendly staff, largest latte —24 oz. — available anywhere in Annapolis, easy parking, and nice breakfast sandwich choices. When my friend asked for a beverage not on the menu, they were happy to make one, and then in their own time worked to make it better for the next time my friend asked for it.“
