Awesome atmosphere and one of the best views in Downtown Annapolis. Recommend on a nice day getting a table on the top floor looking out over the water. Food was also amazing. Split the Maryland crab dip. Recommend ordering an extra loaf of bread with this dish because the crab dip is big compared to the bread.

Newer very airy and trendy seafood joint with a very vibey bar scene. Extensive seafood and steak menu with pricing that gives every diner pause to think about Biden Inflation and or Price Gouging in 2024. The wine list had several middle of the road white offerings from California and France that retail between $30 -$60/bottle (Far Niente Chardonnay as an example of a $60 bottle was on the menu for about $300 a bottle). Not a single bottle on their menu was marked-up under 250%. We started with Clams and the Mussels in lemon grass broth. Mussels were great and plentiful! Clams we were told came in a bacon tomato broth, but to our surprise had a level of overbearing spice (heat) in the dish. Crab cake was just mediocre, with alot of filling left on the plate after lumps were picked. Not the best of Annapolis by far. If you are paying almost $40 a cake +tax, it had better be all crab. Final shocker was the broiled rockfish which I ordered topped with Crab Imperial. I'm not sure if the chef realized that the level of salt in the ingredients would melt an icy Annapolis driveway in January, and require a cardiac surgeon to slam this place for excessive over-salting. With the exception of hopefully fresh local Rockfish and the live oyster offerings, all others on the menu could be bought in bulk at any Costco, which was maddening to think about. Funny enough the server disappeared once our appetizers were taken away and returned only to run my card. No one ever refilled our water glass after navigating the salt mine on our plate. Never once were we asked how our meals were. Very much a soak-the-tourist trap on Ego Alley, and they manage to that level of experience. Then again what did we expect given the location? Next time we will go where the locals go for much better seafood. Pure Thievery.

My friends and I have been consistently coming here since it opened. Since day 1 we have always been blown away by the level of service we receive. The management is amazing, especially Jordan and Elsa. They are prompt, professional and always so friendly! Today, I needed to make an extremely last minute reservation for 10 people on a Friday night, I did not think I was going to get very far with this as the spring season is now here. However, I spoke with a woman named Renita on the phone regarding making my reservation and I was in shock at how accommodating she was to what I thought was an outrageous request. The best customer service, so so sweet and happy to help. Needless to say, I got the reservation. Thank you so much, Renita!

This was our first time at this restaurant. Loved the location, service and food. It is very loud in the restaurant. It is very difficult to carry on a conversation without speaking loudly and that was sitting across the table from your guest.

Michelle was a wonderful server and made our evening perfect. She recommended cocktails and wine which complemented the meal. The salad, steak, and sides were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for date nights. Will definitely be back!

Had a reservation, was immediately seated at the requested area I requested. Had a prompt waiter who was very attentive and truly earned his tip. The food came out fast and hot. Ordered a steak and a steamed seafood sampler platter. It was very well done even tho I had to ask for steak sauce and cocktail sauce. I give Choptank Annapolis an A!!

Fresh ingredients were spoiled by copious quantities of dressing and sauces that drowned the food. Broiled rockfish, roasted carrots and Caesar salad were drenched with liquids that should be applied more sparingly. Prices require a more experienced kitchen staff.

While the service was outstanding, the noise level was extremely high, (we sat top-side, on a Saturday night) and the prices were higher than most restaurants (for similar/comparable items) in the area. While I'm not opposed to paying more for items that are exceptionally prepared, I don't feel there is anything about the steak, appetizers, wine, and cocktail, that would warrant higher prices. I've been to Choptank 2X in last 2 days (4 times in past 6 mos) and although everything I had was “good”, I was underwhelmed all times. . Again, the servers are exceptional, but I would recommend Choptank #2 or 3, to friends who want a restaurant recommendation in Annapolis. I've lived in the area for 9 years and went to USNA.

Absolutely disgraceFUL place! They have zero respect or Knowledge of the ADA law.Lots of available tables that they claimed were reserved, way too many to actually be reserved! We had a fully licensed Service dog. THATS DISCRIMINATION! THE HOSTEST INVITED US TO WAIT UNTIL A LARGE PARTY OF PEOPLE OF COLOR LEFT THE RESTAURANT AND WE COULD BE SEATED IN THAT AREA. WE WERE TWO PEOPLE PLUS A SERVICE DOG TO REPLACE A TABLE OF MINIMUM TWELVE people of color! I cant say enough about this Discrimination on Multiple levels!!! Shame on you Atlas Corp.! GET YOUR act Together!!!

Clear discrimination despite many tables being available due to having a service dog. A complete breach of the law and ADA

Great seafood; excellent service; wonderful ambience. Oyster selection is good and drinks complimented the food. They mixed the cream of crab soup with maryland crab soup! Amazing! Definantly a must try.
