We have been here well over 20 times and have always had a great meal and great service until this past weekend. Our server was horrible. Food was brought out by another employee and our waitress never returned to check on us. Warm drinks without ice and no condiments offered or brought to the table. Had the food been good this wouldn’t have been a huge deal but the food was awful. It was embarrassing as we brought out of town guests. The potato leak soup was cold and was not soup. It was like instant mashed potatoes. The grilled sandwiches weren’t grilled-they were toasted. The fish is smaller and they are no longer served with chips. They were cold and common french fries. When our waitress brought our check she never asked why I didn’t eat my meal and was leaving more hungry than I arrived. Needless to say we will have to find another “go to” place to bring out of town guests.

This was our second visit to Annapolis and our second visit to this wonderfully warm pub.Stopped by for a couple of Jameson’s and a properly-poured Guinness on our way to check out the next day’s festivities at SHAMROCK THE DOCK.Seamus, a great bartender (as was Brian and a lovely young lady with an incredibly upbeat personality), recommended that we try the corned beef poppers. Delicious! Great Irish music on the sound system and good convo with the barkeeps made for fine craic!Wandered off and came back a wee bit later for the lamb cheesesteak—a wonderful variation on the old Philly classic!Stayed for a bit to listen to a fine singer who was doing some Irish classics….wanted to stay longer but this old coot, after a long drive and a “few” pick me ups, headed off for some rest before the next day’s excellent celebration of the Auld Saint’s special day.The bride and I have been to Ireland many times…the decor…the bartenders…the food…the music…GALWAY does its inspiration proud!

Galway Bay was INCREDIBLE! We were seated swiftly and had several servers check on us. We ordered the cabbage wraps as an appetizer, and I knew right off the bat the food was gonna be bangin'. I got the pot roast, which had a delicious mushroom gravy, and was in heaven. My mom got the shepherd's pie and was also impressed. We also got the Irish cream mousse to go; it was perfect. I was so happy. Thanks for everything.

I wish I could give it 6 stars. There just isn't any other place like it. I've never been to the old county but I've heard from those who have that say the Guinness here pours like it does there.

Old school pub feel to atmosphere, dark wood walls, wood floors.Service was good, but as the restaurant filled up, the servers seemed a little taxed.Food was good-sized portions and hearty. Pickle chips are spears, breaded lightly and fried crisp. Shepherd pie was cooked well, savory and a good ratio of meat and potatoes and seasonings. Fish and chips were OK, fish was breaded lightly and.fried well, chips were just ok (seemed like packaged) not as crispy or.well done as the fish

The place is beautiful, warm and inviting, and the staff is all that and very friendly. I had Bangers and Mashed which were exactly what they were supposed to be. My associate had a grilled chicken and bacon sandwich which was excellent. Overall, and outstanding experience.

Absolutely delicious Jerk Chicken Salad. It brought together delightful and complex flavors of Caribbean seasonings, mandarin slices, red onion, over a fresh bed of salad greens. The Atmosphere was warm and full. Despite being abundant, attentive, and friendly, the staff seemed overwhelmed to the point of being ineffective. This was nicely ameliorated by the awesome conversation with two ladies (soon to be commissioned as Ensigns) seated next to me.Dietary restrictions: ps.. the Jerk Chicken Salad was gluten free.

Seamus is the best bartender in all of Maryland. This place is quite mystical actually. The best staff I have ever encountered and a solid bedrock of management which is hard to come by these days. 100/100
