Had a delicious lunch here! The fresh craft beers were great and there was a pretty good selection. The wagyu meatballs were a good appetizer. The deviled eggs were good but not your typical style. The chicken sliders were also a good appetizer. I had the meatlovers pizza as a meal, it was big and delicious! Could probably be a meal for too really! Definitely give this place a try, nothing we tried was bad.

Ooof. This was among the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant, which is a brewery, had no beer. Then, they were out of half their appetizers and entrees. So we ordered the soft pretzel. Comes out burnt to hell. When it comes to ordering our entrees, they were out of pretty much everything I could eat. So I ordered chicken tacos. They come out and it’s fish. By the time we could even flag anyone down, the rest of my party had finished eating their meals and it made no sense to order new food when they were out of everything and messed everything up so bad. Couldn’t recommend avoiding this place more.

Went for lunch. Worst food I ever had, not exaggerating. I ordered tuna poke bowel, rice and tuna were both frozen. Rice was not eatable, it was hard and mushy at the same time. I told the waitress that I was thinking to order the meatballs from the starter for my son as he likes meatballs, and asked her if it was spicy, she said “not at all”. So I ordered, and it was spicy, and my son couldn’t eat it. She didn’t apologize just said “order from kids menu”. I ordered cheese burger, it was the saddest and driest and most burnt cheese burger I’ve ever seen. My son had a bit bread, and needed water to flush down the burger. More to the list, waiting time was unbelievable considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, plate served was dirty and had to ask for new plates, the waitress didn’t care about our experience and wearing a poker face all the time. Now I’m writing this review and want to slap myself for giving 15% tip still!

Always a good time and they have an outdoor patio. Try the artichoke, burger and of course the beer.

This restaurant does not have a host or greeter when you enter. They count on the only two servers and they must seat people that come in. We waited 10 minutes and no one even noticed us standing there. I went over and asked server to seat us. ONLY two servers while having one group of 15 people plus aromos other clients. So service sucked. Now for the food. Maryland crab soup has none existent amount of crab. Instead it was mostly potato ?. It was watery potato soup. Meat ball appetizer was so bad I couldn’t eat it. It looked good and tasted horrible. It had this nice looking sauce and for some reason they covered the center with spicy barbecue sauce. It tasted weird. Ate two left the rest. Didn’t bother tasting them home. Bruschetta flat bread was very good as was the drinks.I don’t blame servers or kitchen. This is a badly managed restaurant who are not involved in the day to day. An experienced manager would not allow this mess to occur.

Me and my fiancé came here last night after a long time of eating here, and I was so disappointed. I always liked the food here, and a lot has changed on their menu, which is fine. But our experience was the absolute worst last night, we had spent all day taking engagement photos and we wanted to celebrate and enjoy after but it was so miserable. The host was very friendly, but our waiter Dejra was so ignorant and rude, and I normally don’t complain about restaurants. They were busy but not extremely busy. We waited 40 minutes for our food and we didn’t order much, she only came to our table about 3 times within 1 hour and a half. People who got there way after us got their starters before us, and I couldn’t explain how upset we were. Another girl gave us our food and goes “We are busy” and just slams the food on the table on the edge and didn’t even acknowledge or anything and walks away. They didn’t give us the right sides and forgot our additional sauces, I saw 2 people across from us gave their entire food back because they didn’t take something off that they specifically asked for not to be on there. People in front of us walking up to the register to ask for their checks and other things because she had everyone wait, and wait forever and gives attitude to all of her customers. I will not be eating here again. My chicken tenders were absolutely disgusting and that says so much about their food.

I dined at the Annapolis location frequently prior to the pandemic and the food was good. Visited a couple of weeks ago and the food was good. Decided to bring 4 friends for a birthday celebration on a Fri eve. Made reservations for 6:30pm with Daniel on Tues prior. Specifically mentioned we were celebrating birthdays and wanted a table setting (not a booth) preferably in the area where there is table seating. When we arrived we were told they overbooked and there was no table seating left. They had seated a few parties of 6 at 6pm knowing that we were on the books for 6:30pm. Did they think those large parties would be finished by 6:30pm? Really! The manager was not empathetic...unless you consider his offer to compensate with free appetizers & dessert being empathetic. Then he proceeded to sit us in the bar area. He should have at least compensated a couple of meals for the ladies who were celebrating birthdays. So we left and went to Tuscan Prime Italian Chophouse across the street. Seated within 10 minutes. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Two different managers came to our table several times to check if everything was ok. Now that is what I call good customer service. My new go-to. Will no longer patronize Gordon Biersch in Annapolis, MD.

I used to love this place and had a few pleasant experiences at this location. Welp that was before Covid as several other comments state. There was a dead gnat in the martini glass (you could see it floating clear as day), it took forever for a waitress to come, and the entire experience is not indicative of the brand or any other location for that matter. The food was good when we finally had a chance to order and it came from the kitchen but I do not plan on coming back until changes are made and advertised. They need to close for hiring, cleaning, and training then attempt to reopen. Lack of staff is not an excuse for cleanliness!

Gordon Biersch Brewery is a good place to eat. It's a brewery so, in theory, I should comment on the beer. But I don't enjoy the taste of beer. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and caramelized onions with a side order of jalapeño slaw. I enjoy caramelized onions, and I was anticipating a delicious meal. The burger itself was excellent, but the chef gave very few caramelized onions. I was disappointed, and I deleted one star because of that. The jalapeño slaw was excellent. If you're in the neighborhood of Annapolis Towne Centre and it's mealtime, the Gordon Biersch Brewery is a good place to eat.

ITs very sad about this establishment. COVID knocked some restaurants in a bad way, however GB kept it going. They HAD some great help there, however more and more waitresses, and waiters left. When speaking with them, it was consistent-Not enough help. Working too many hours with no support. Last Friday, a waiter had the entire restaurant. He had mentioned 7 call outs. Not his fault, he did a fantastic job. Not once did we see any person in authority, ATTEMP to help this poor fella. Went there this past Friday. No Host or Hostess at the front door. The bar tender shouted from the bar if we would like to sit the bar, we did not. We wanted to relax in a booth. The waterless seated us, and bought menus. Our waitress was great, and training some new help...FINALLY, however the condition of the restaurant, the menu, the quality of the food, and the service is in great despair. Gordon Biersch look at these reviews, and fix your restaurant, AND clean the restrooms. My wife knows how I am when it comes to restaurants: If the bathroom is spotless, so is the kitchen. If the bathroom is dirty, so is the kitchen. She told me of the state of the ladies room after we left. I prayed all the way home, and into the night, I wouldn't wake up with Staphylococcus the next morning. PLUS: Gordon Biersch, DO NOT SEND ME AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE ABOUT 'HOW YOU TAKE THIS ISSUES SERSIOULY'. JUST FIX THE PROBLEM

My family used to come to the Annapolis location quite often. Today, we sat and watched while the waiter services about 5 tables; never even giving us eye contact. We waited for 25 minutes and left. Funny, all the other customers were white. I did mention this to the old lady at the greeting station while we exited and the old lady just said in a defensive tone that she didn't seat us! I called to speak with a manager and she, the old lady, put the phone down and no one ever picked up. We shall not be back. I would give zero stars if I could!

Love GB. Beer is on point for sure. Not outrageous prices. Open air bar. Oh yeah

I have never in my life felt more disrespected. We walked in and stood by the front waiting to be seated. Waiters and hostesses walked past us several time without a second look, not even a basic greeting. We figured they might be understaffed and waited patiently. When the bartender finally made his way to us he was very rude, dismissive, and curt, made us feel like we were an inconvenience for him to sit us down. He didn't make eye contact, said "hi" as he looked over a to-go order. After a few moments of unnecessary silence, he turns to us and says " bar, table?". So much for a welcoming. We walked out of the establishment. It begs the question: was it that 2 brown people dared set foot in your restaurant or 2 people wearing athletic clothing that gave you the idea to be so dismissive and rude to 2 potential customers?

Friday July 15, my wife, cousin and I were enjoying the outdoor concert offered by the Annapolis Town Center. I went to the restaurant to order carry out. Not a large crowd inside the bar area, as I sat at the bar, the expecting mother, bartender Raine was very pleasant and busy. After taking my order and offering a pint, I asked Vanessa, a server for plates and cutlery. As Vanessa passed me by mid sentence, she didn't stop to address me, continued to walk away from me, so I stated "that was rude".I immediately asked server Tasha for a manager, she stated "You need to leave"..In disbelief, I asked hostess Keilen to get a manager. As manager Bill approached, server Tasha waked by again and said "get out - you need to leave" - I said to Bill did you hear what she just said me..?I went back to the bar and demanded a refund from Raine for my charges, as Tasha - in a security type fashion is waking around loudly proclaiming"he needs to leave" SEVERAL TIMES This behavior by servers Vanessa and Tasha was heard and witnessed by the entire bar area. As a result, approximately 5 other patrons approached me in solidarity and also left the Annapolis Town Center Gordon Biersch location. As a former restaurant owner and GM of a successful business, This is by far the absolute worse level of customer service I have ever experienced. I will be contacting the GM Daniel forthcoming. If there was a zero star rating the restaurant would have certainly received that from me.
