My family was looking for a place to eat on Labor Day and we stumbled upon the place relatively empty. The servers were extremely friendly, but what spurred this post is the food. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich served with au jus, and BBQ sliders. The comfort food was absolutely delicious. The bread was toasted perfectly and the fries were crisp and seasoned well. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Annapolis and highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great meal.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing. My band did a weekend tour with shows in Baltimore & DC, but we stayed in Annapolis about 7 minutes from this place. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! We all were raving about the food for the rest of the day. It's in like a "downtown" touristy area, so it's all metered parking, & very busy with the "hustle & bustle" of foot traffic, but it's a great area to be in. The staff was friendly & attentive, the wait wasn't too long, but the food made it all worth it. Definitely on my list of places to go when in Maryland from now on. I only took pictures of my food in this case, but everyone loved their food. I had the Biscuits & Gravy, which was the best I've ever had. Usually it's lacking in either the gravy flavor, or the biscuits are dry. This was perfection. I also had their Crab Dip....Incredible. It has almost like a sweet Thai chili glaze to it that just makes it irresistible. I tried to push to go back the next day, but everyone else wanted to try somewhere different, which makes sense, but I didn't care...the food was THAT good, lol.

Proof that you don't have to be sucked in by the overpriced chain eatery's to have a good experience. Steaming hot summer afternoon, walked in for a quiet, relaxing lunch of a couple of salads.. Server was on the ball, quite a character in a good way and a hip dude. My fiance and I combined the watermelon salad and an arugula and greens salad which made for refreshing lunch. The meal did not bust the bank like the other restaurants who are fully embracing 'Greedflation'. Anyway, we left satisfied with our food and enjoyed a little spirited conversation with the server, who btw, reminded us of Wyatt Langmore from Ozark..hahaha..

7/16/22 Alex our server is great. Our hostess that got our attention to this restaurant is great. The food we ate was delicious. Let's get down to business. It was raining cats and dogs and we were hungry. Enter 1771 G&T Restaurant. Our hostess who I think of as college student name Ms. Costanza, showed us to a table near the front of the restaurant/bar. The restaurant has 3 floors, but the party room floor was closed for the day. The second floor has bathrooms and an additional area for dining. It the time we were there, the second floor was empty, except for bathroom users. In case you are wondering, the bathrooms are not gender neutral. Our server turned out to be a man named Alex. He is orginally from Ohio who moved to Annapolis Maryland 3 years ago. I believe he is now a Baltimore Ravens fan and loves where he lives now. Alex was full of joy when we saw him and knew the whole menu like the back of his hand. Ginger Ale for the both of us followed by hot fries came out. I wasn't to hungry so I ordered the S'more's Brownie. My wife a burger and we ate like king and queen. While eating, the place filled up with a wedding reception party. Not sure why, but beautiful white girls filled the restaurant. My wife noticed, them too, but was more appalled by a drunk guys singing at the moment. Nevertheless, we learned from Alex this restaurant changed names not to long ago. I also noticed there is another wedding party going on in another restaurant. I did not like seeing balloons being thrown out the window. 1771 restaurant is one we will definitely come back to. The bathrooms were well maintained and stink free. Oh, there is a nlbarhroom on the second floor too. It is marked as W.C for Water Closet. A name I have not seen or heard of since visiting Europe.

I went in on a busy Friday evening. I was able to get an outdoor table right away. It took about 10 minutes before anyone got to me, only after I flagged down someone and asked for my waiter to come to the table. The waiter was nice and personable. I ordered the arugula salad and crab dip along with two cocktails. Everything was tasty. The quantity of toppings on the salad was light compared to the other photos I saw of it on Yelp. The crab dip only had a few pieces of crab and was a little thin, but great flavor. The cocktails were perfect. I would definitely return to try more of their menu.

Went here for the fist time this weekend. Awesome place in an incredible location. Food was sublime -- great variety and top notch. Tons of alcohol selections and a G&T treasure trove. Servers were on point and Manager was on top of everything. Even bumped into one of the owners who seemed like a really fun guy...told me the storied history of the building. Overall an excellent addition to the Bar scene in Downtown Annapolis -- it turned info a kickin' dance club at night -- If I were single and 30 years younger, I would have stayed all night.....and maybe I did.

Probably the cutest bar in Annapolis! Has great gin and tonics and we also enjoyed the hot mulled cider. The bartender was super busy while we were there but she still managed to be super attentive and serve us some great drinks! Will return for food another time!

Terrible service! My husband and I waited at the bar for 15 minutes without even being greeted. Someone walked right up after we had sat there for awhile and ordered a drink. Piss poor service. DO NOT recommend!

First and foremost, Matt behind the bar, is fantastic! My wife and I had a wonderful time sitting at the bar chatting with him. This is a nice place to stop into if you need a break from the craziness so common in the rest of Annapolis.

I'm going to give 1771 another go. I went on an insanely busy day in the area and was exiled to the upper level of the establishment - being the only couple in the room, while the bar was extremely lively below. Eventually another couple joined us in Purgatory. I'm just saying, I was afforded absolutely none of the ambiance or charm of the location. Aside from this, I'd say one other notable issue was that the crabcake sandwich says Market Price. Beware. We paid $30 for a single cake, reasonable size. In Hagerstown(we don't even have an ocean) a person could get two delightful cakes for the same thirty bones.

Sat at table and then forgot about. Ended up walking out and hit another restaurant nearby.

Dj brunch on Saturday’s!! This is the spot, get the french toast or the biscuits and gravy !! The atmosphere here is so welcoming, the crowds are great. Manager Gina is beyond welcoming and knows how to really provide a fun and safe experience for all!

1771 is my new favorite spot to go to in Annapolis, whether it’s for a quick beer with some friends or some craft cocktails and great food. It’s a great new spot for locals and tourists alike.
