Food is excellent as the owner is also the chef. Great beef chow fun and their seafood hot and sour soup is to die for. Was disappointed recently that they were mopping the floors while we were dining. Awful smell of the chemicals. I don't think the owner would have liked to eat with that odor.

I've been a fan of this restaurant for over thirty years. Their food has consistently been very good and I don't hesitate to recommend House of Hunan for a pleasant dining experience.

I am very picky about my Chinese cuisine and usually only go to one place about an hour away from me. I really wanted Chinese and I saw this restaurant so I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. The gentleman who waited on me was super nice with a great sense of humor. I picked up my food brought it home and it was delicious. So glad I found somewhere closer when I want Chinese cuisine.

Spring rolls were hot and fresh full of whole shrimp! Thai red chicken curry was delicious. Moist tender chicken cooked to perfection. Veggies were hot with just a little crunch left. Sticky Jasmine rice perfectly steamed. Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Great experience will definitely be back!

We ordered 2 fried rice, & 1 Egg foo young it totaled $47.24...absolutely insane. Not only is this insane but the portions are very small. They give lunch size portions at outrageous prices. I asked for all the dishes to be spicy, there was NO kick to it at all. In fact, there was no seasoning period. Pre COVID they had great food, while the portions were small, but it had flavor. Now, it's horrible to pay these outrageous prices for no flavor and small portions. They lost a long time customer.

The lamb Hunan was terrible. The lamb was dried out and tough. Sauteed green beans had no flavor. Moo shu chicken was good and the pancake with it was good but I can not recommend this restaurant.

Hands down the best local Szechuan food. Spicy, delicious, and great new choices every time. Love the spicy wontons, and that beautiful chili oil. Best Kung Pao I’ve ever had. Great customer service every time we call in.

Extremely overpriced. Person that brought food out was rude. Hunan beef is supposed to be spicy. Had NO spice at all. Food was not hot. Rice was in a miniature container. Not enough rice. Rice is cheap.

A little pricey for Chinese food but it was the best General Tso I ever had. Large white chunks of chicken with crispy breading. Delivery Driver was also courteous. Definitely worth it will be ordering from again if I'm ever back in the area.

I have to say this is the second time I ordered in the last few months. And am sad to say it will be my last. Both times my food was not fresh. It was like the food had been just sitting under a heat lamp. The sweet and sour chicken was greasy mostly breading. The spring rolls were equally greasy. Even the rice didn't seem fried. I waited out front so my food would be hot and fresh. I t was neither.

We've tried this place twice now because of the vegetarian options. Their vegetarian chicken was borderline inedible the first time, it was so dry and chewy, almost like jerky and cardboard. The vegetarian orange beef was really good though, so we decided to order a second time and only get veggie beef options. The two other beef options were also borderline inedible. The Orange beef is solid and that's why I'm giving 3 stars, but after spending over $100 here twice and only 1/5 different entrees tasting decent, I'm not sure we'll ever come back. They should really cut down the menu by like 2/3 and just focus on making the things that they're good at.

Shrimp fried rice was tasteless. Sesame chicken was too sweet and goopey. "Crispy spring roll" was literally uncooked. Don't bother. These are not difficult dishes.
