Awesome place. Terrific wine selection. Wine expert is awesome. Ambiance is spacious, clean with cool statues. I really felt like I was in a little Italy restaurant or actually in Italy. Their pastas are fantastic as is their pizza's. I have really been trying to find an authentic New York style pizza because the places I live near in Crofton are missing mark. Italian Market fell off my radar a few years back after we had some less than great experiences. But, they are first class, being able to enjoy a Chianti while you wait in a great atmosphere is worth the wait. Take the time and visit you will not be disappointed

This is THE most inviting restaurant & market all in one place. We had the most delicious food. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. We choose mussels & sandwiches. They were just awesome! There's so much to choose from! The seating area gives off just the perfect Italian patio dining effect with a fountain in the center. Very inviting. I'll be coming back often for sure! Already planning my next visit ?Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access if wheel chair access needed.

Espresso with the Gelato was sub-par, won't buy that again. Nothing like in Italy. This one reminded me of weak cold coffee with ice cream and lack of presentation for the $7.95. Salad was fresh.Vegetarian options: Fresh salad is consistent.

Really fun and nice place. Would highly recommend and plan to go back.Atmosphere is interesting. Half of the restaurant is a wine store and on Fridays, they do wine tasting which was fun. It is relaxed/casual.Service is also interesting. You order at a counter. Food comes out quickly. We enjoyed our meal, my wife thought the gnocchi was better than some of the places in Little Italy.Prices are pretty reasonable. We all enjoyed the entire experience.Overall if you are looking for a casual unique Italian Restaurant, give it a shot.

I Googled the Italian market on my phone. I called and placed an order for carryout. (Cheesesteak, fries and a cannoli) When I picked it up the order was $10 more than I expected. When I questioned the price, she showed me their menu and the prices. I showed her the prices on my phone and she said that's not the price. I could take it or leave it. I took it because I was starving. As I was leaving she was telling the manager. He could not find the prices either on his tablet so I showed him my phone with the prices that I saw he said he was sorry for the mix-up and would look into it. So, my $14 lunch cost me $24.00! NOT HAPPY!!
Loved this place so much at my first visit last week. Been thinking about the delish pizza all week and first chance to get back this evening trying to get there by closing at 9pm...womp womp hate when places close 15 minutes beforehand...this looks so closed like their back home in bed closed. ?

An insult to real Italian markets and to NY delis. Ordered the summer sub. Prosciutto and fresh mozzarella with tomato. Can you find the prosciutto? What a joke. One slice for $12.95??

Nothing authentic or scratch made about this place. I would have been better off putting ketchup on a chicken tender sandwich from kfc than ordering parmesan subs here. The portions were especially pitiful, regardless of price, but the combo was very disappointing. We would NEVER consider going back!
