I had the fettuccine con vegetali and chicken and let me tell you the Italians would not be impressed. I’m not one to add salt to my meal, but I had to keep adding and adding. It lacked flavor. The chicken was chewy indicating it was over cooked or cooked at too high of a temperature. Absolutely zero love went into the meal. I’m a food enthusiast and paying for a meal that was below subpar just breaks my heart. With the amount of restaurants nearby, I don’t see myself ever returning to this one.

Prix fixe lunch, good value and good quality. Make a reservation, even for lunch, it's a small cozy place.

We had a delicious meal at Luna Blu. The burrata appetizer is excellent and a large portion. Each of us had pasta. Mine was the gluten free Pasta Genovese, with pesto and added Italian sausage. It was outstanding. Our server was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended

Started with bruschetta - great to split 4 ways! Each ordered a different entree and all were extremely pleased- not only with the flavor but also the quantity( serving size was ample and each of us took home almost half of our entree $ Todd was excellent waiter willing to make suggestions and each was spot-on! Suggestion: make their life easier. Don't ask them to split the check. Either bring cash or know which friend is willing to pay the whole bill and the rest of you can reimburse that friend'

Luna Blu is a hidden gem in DTA if you do t know ow about it. Superb Italian food with a great staff. you will always see Erin moving around to ensure all is well. With so many great spots in Annapolis I am happy that people forget this one so I can get a table!! Try it! You won't be disappointed!

We came for restaurant week to try a new restaurant! We had heard good reviews from friends and family. Luna Blu definitely lived up to the reviews with excellent options for appetizers, mains, and dessert. Lucky for us, we were there on 1/2 price bottles of wine day! The staff were very friendly, our server was so busy yet gracious. We will definitely come back! We also noticed the owners are very philanthropic to those in the Annapolis area. Thank you for a great lunch!

The food continues to be superb. We visited during Restaurant Week and were not disappointed. Definitely a go to place. It is small, so making a reservation is necessary to ensure timely seating. It is well worth it!

Great food and varied menu. Very nice atmosphere though due to small size if the table next to you gets loud, it's loud, but adds to the experience. Very nice and efficient staff.

We have had many experiences at Luna Blu and created wonderful memories. We shared Luna Blu with friends that had not dined there. I think they thanked us no less than five times for taking them. Thanks Erin and team. Your service was tip top. Oh, and the food is exceptional.

Came for Annapolis Restaurant Week. They were very busy - I don't know if that was normal or just because of RW. So glad we had a reservation! Party of 3, we each ordered a starter and an entree. Ordered unsweetened iced tea to drink and it was ick. Couldn't be bothered to complain but it was quite obvious that the iced teas were basically untouched. I had the Eggplant Napoleon and the Salmon con Spinaci. I don't know why I was thinking the whole eggplant dish would be baked. Upon reviewing the menu, it only says that the eggplant was grilled, not the whole thing. Probably a poor choice to order something with fresh tomatoes in February. It was rather insipid, with the predominant flavor being the balsamic sauce. The salmon, however, was like a dream. A sizeable portion of salmon, with a divine cream sauce. The menu calls it an alfredo but it was SO much better than an alfredo. Bonus was a substantial portion of crabmeat and two perfect, tender scallops. I'm literally trying to make plans to go back with friends this weekend to eat that salmon again. Service was good considering how busy they were. Definitely cheerful and willing to be of service. Freezing - bring a sweater!

We have been dying to eat here for some time and it just never worked out until recently (any time we walked in with no resy, there was never anything available and no wait list, which was annoying). So finally made a resy a few weeks out, maybe our expectations were unreasonably high.It was a double date and everyone got the price fix menu which was one app, one salad, one main, and one dessert for close to $50, a good value. Ordered a nice barolo to get started. The apps were roundly disappointing in just about every way. I ordered grilled octopus on polenta. The octopus was obviously not fresh (mealy and bland) and drowning in capers which just did not taste right. Someone else got the mushroom tart which was also previously frozen and just disappointing in both presentation and flavor.Bread arrived at some point and I swear someone had forgotten to salt that batch of dough, it just tasted ... wrong. Also, shouldn't there be some olive oil and balsamic on the table? Or butter? It was just a basket of bland, tepid rolls.Salads came next and they were...fine. Not bad but I could have made something as good (if not better) at home.Mains were also just fine. Nothing out of this world but good. I got fra diavolo and the gravy and seafood were good but the pasta was nothing special, certainly not made in-house is my guess.Desserts ranged from just OK to good, I got limoncello sorbet which was very nice with real chunks of lemon. My wife got tiramisu which, ahem, had chocolate chips in it. A nice touch for an American pallet maybe but I doubt a real Italian would be caught dead putting chocolate chips in their tiramisu, but I could be wrong! Our waiter was friendly and professional, but made a couple of big blunders, e.g., one person had a tomato allergy (tough thing at an Italian restaurant, granted!) but they discussed it and he suggested a dish for her and when it arrived, turns out it had tomatoes in it after all. D'oh!Again, maybe our expectations were unreasonably high. I want so much more for the Annapolis food scene though and think we should be holding places like this to a higher standard. We will definitely be back, maybe they were just having an off night, but our expectations will remain high and hope we hope for a better experience next time!
