I almost don't want to write this review because the staff was very nice and they quickly and graciously remedied the situation. I ordered the pit beef sandwich, thinking it would be smoked and nice and tender. What I received was sliced beef with no apparent signs of being smoked and so tough I could not bite through it. Even worse, there was a lot of gristle and connective tissue making it even harder to chew. I barely got 3 bites into it before I realized I could not eat it at all. I was really trying.I went back in and merely wanted to let them know I couldn't eat it, not expecting to get a new sandwich, but hoping that would happen. Right away, the nice lady knew exactly what the problem was and she went back to the kitchen and told them to make another one with thin slices. Very quickly she gave me the new sandwich, and I was able to eat it. It still was lacking any real flavor but I could eat it, which satisfied my hunger, but I have to think it could have been better. I knew I should have ordered the brisket sandwich.

I love Pit Boys. I didn’t read the other reviews, but I’ve always had a great experience picking up food from there and they were very welcoming when I first moved to Annapolis. Their barbecue and their seafood is good. I’ve ordered it for large groups, individually and for my family. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good. I especially love ordering salads from here and the sandwiches.

The staff is nice and there's always someone around if you need something. I mostly go here for all you can eat crabs and the prices are great, and the crabs are always sweet! The food is delicious! The atmosphere is casual! They have tvs for football games, which is a bonus. The crab dip is so tasty, and so are the hush puppies if you're looking for something extra for the table to go the crabs, and the nutty buddy ice cream is huge and also so good.

This Rockfish Sandwich is really tasty.I should have order the entree. The fish taste really good with being put on a sandwich. The sandwich also came with Old Bay chips. But if you do not like alot old bay, then I recommend asking them to be light on the old bay. Cause the chips to me has too much old bay on it.We also oder the Crab Dip. It's really good too. Using the Crab Dip foe my Old Bay chips it great. It cuts the seasoning down. Also if you have never had Snakefish sandwich, try it. That was really good too.

Unimpressed. Poor service, no ambiance of any kind and eh food. Since I'm new to the area, it was my first visit and I told the young girl behind the counter that I was excited to try the brisket. Not something you can find everyday. I was the only one there and an older woman was on the floor tidying up. I also asked the bread options. All options were soft breads so asked if they could toast. I pay, the girl puts the order as a to go as asked . A few minutes later, I'm told there is no brisket. I order the beef instead. Girl tells me it's the same price, "...so it doesn't matter". I check the menu and there is a difference but I don't say anything yet. Next, the cook starts speaking loud enough for me to hear to the older woman in the dining area and it is obviously not being prepared for to go because he's asking. So I ask her to question if she could check on whether the bread was being toasted. That seemed to be a foreign concept to the cook. She tells him how to do it! The sandwich meat was good but basically plain roast beef, the bread was a soft hamburger bun slightly toasted. Bring your own Kaiser Roll or Ciabatta. Last thing I want is saucy meat melting my bread and the whole thing falling apart. They also forgot the requested onion and pickle. I won't be back. Nothing special.

Would highly recommend skipping this place. Most of the food seemed like it had been reheated in a microwave, we received moldy bread on two sandwiches, save yourself the time and go anywhere else.
