We are big fan's of Ram's Head (love Dockside and Tavern) and seeing they had Wednesday night trivia decided to give this "new to us" location a try. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but has a large parking lot and a simple little small building that looks very modern and clean on the inside with loads of TVs everywhere. Well, this place was PACKED at 7:35PM when we arrived, every possible chair was taken. And the first thing you notice is that it is LOUD, and not just the loud music (which it was) but also just loud crowd noise due to the building acoustics. None of us could hear each other speak the whole night. The service was good and prompt and frequently checked on us. They advertised having "beer specials and 1/2 price nachos".....yet when we got our checks at the end of the night we were charged full price (shockingly in spite of the rural location, this place is equal to and in some cases the most expensive of all three Annapolis regional Ram's Head properties....yes, went and looked after paying $18 for my "1/2 price nachos", $7 house draft beer, and $18 for 3 pieces of fish and chips). The food was above average quality bar food but very expensive - ex. it cost $7 to add 5 smallish shrimp to a salad. The trivia was fun and well organized and presented, but 8PM seems a bit of a late start for that group activity and then they dragged it on for almost 2 and a half hours to get through just 4 rounds of 10 questions. I am sure locals appreciate having this place but it was so loud and expensive, we will probably keep our Ram's Head experiences at Dockside and Tavern.

We attended a happy hour at the Rams Head Roadhouse for a networking event recently. It had been a while since I've been but to give an update. The place was nice, clean, had great beer selections, and the advertisers for delicious. I was impressed with the amount of rear parking that they have as well.
This was my first time here. I was with a group of ladies celebrating our friend's upcoming nuptials. Live music was supposed to start at 8, but the performer didn't set up until 8:30 and didn't start performing until almost 9. ? I ordered the pretzels and brats. It was tasty, but the portion size was small for the price. My "brats" literally was 1 brat sliced into three long strips. It came with sauerkraut that was not heated. The pretzels were nice sized and tasty. I also ordered a nutty fashion package cocktail that was tasty but also very small for the price. Others in my group said their food was okay. Some portions were large, some small.
My family and I dined here this past Wednesday night. We really had a great time. Place was packed with customers and generally had a laid back vibe to it. They have several specials available throughout the week. Sunday is burger night for $6. Tuesday is prime rib night and Wednesday night is kids eat free with a purchase of an entree. The only negative we had was we waited over 10 minutes to be greeted. With kids, that can spell disaster! A gentleman server approached us named Matt. He decided to take our table and provided Excellent Service. We just chalked it up to a misunderstanding. Our food was delicious! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Love the prime rib and outdoor seating. They even have powerful heaters to extend the outdoor season!
