My wife and I just moved to Annapolis and were craving Indian, so we gave this a try. First of all, the name has changed - it's now Memos Bar and Grill and although it still has roughly the same Indian menu, it's not an Indian restaurant. The good: Good portion size and the food was hotThe bad: Overpriced and underflavored. I got the chicken kabobs and I honestly couldn't tell that they were chicken. They were dry and flavorless and I couldn't finish. My wife got the Chicken Tikka Masala and while the sauce had some good flavor, the chicken itself was bland.

The meals we got were as good or if not worse than a frozen Indian meal from the grocery store. My chicken saag was watery and had zero flavor. There were more tomatoes than chicken. I ordered medium and couldn't taste an ounce of spice. Portions are tiny for the price. Should of known something was off when a Indian restaurant doesn't serve samosas. We also got butter chicken that had the same lack of flavor and was watery.

Best Indian food I've found that rivals my Indian neighbor's.Chicken Makhani / Butter Chicken

Just ate here today to try their lunch buffet. They charge us 14.99 per person. There not enough choices of food. I came to try the tandoori chicken and we arrived there at 12pm . When we arrived there’s only one drumstick in the tray of tandoori chicken. I asked the server if they plan to refill the tray and he said yes. We ate the tikka masala chicken and the goat meat which is tender. The tandoori chicken tray didn’t get refilled until we we’re already finished eating. The flavor of the food is not as flavorful as the other Indian restaurants I tried. I rather try a different restaurant than come back here.

My wife and I have met here for lunch for years. It's six minutes drive for each of us from work and we both like Indian food. Buffet lunch fit her half hour schedule. No more buffet! My wife said in the end the extra ten minutes for lunch was well worth it. High praise indeed.

I haven't been here since before the pandemic. I asked for lamb vindaloo, extra spicy. It was not extra spicy, probably just a medium spicy range. There was only one person working and Jerry Springer was on TV. I'm paying quite a bit to be there, prices are high, and it just didn't give me the ambience I expected. I won't be returning.

Awful. Simply awful. The owner should come on a Sunday afternoon and see the cultural abomination being served. When entered, mariachi music was blasting. Cauliflower kerala, which was supposed to be garlicky, was a sweet, sticky, gloopy weirdness. The chicken 65 was like sweet and sour pork. This is not the restaurant it used to be. I think whoever is cooking thought they were still at Panda Express.

Cultural Abomination Entered, and mariachi music was playing. Not a fusion restaurant. The cauliflower kerala was not what it was supposed to be. It was a sweet, gloopy weird abomination. Chicken 65 was eerily similar to food court sweet and sour pork. Not the restaurant it used to be!

Food was delicious and service was top notch. Place was recommended by my son and was definitely worth the trip.

Went to Royal Karma for the lunch buffet. Unfortunately the buffet was not the same high quality we have experienced previously for dinner (though from the menu). The Tika masala and chicken curry were not flavorful. The nann was dryed out in the warmer tray.

It's honestly shocking how empty the place was when I came in for dinner on a Sunday night. I was initially a little off put by the lack of cars or signs of human life in the lot but once I came in the front doors it was like I was in narnia. The menu is pretty big and the food was absolutely bangin. Best Indian food I've had in a while and everything was cooked really well. If I could change anything it would be that I wish they put more chicken in my chicken tikka masala. So friggin good

Not what it used to be. Chicken makhani and tandoori chicken lacked spice and flavor. Chicken biryani was clumpy and not mixed well. Naan was burnt. Mulligatawny Soup was abysmal. Not worth the prices they charge. Annapolis is not a destination for authentic Indian cuisine.

The mixed biryani with both meat and seafood is superb! Excellently done! I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered: bindi (okra dish), Goan fish (lacked spice heat and salt), mixed kebab (was really tasty), garlic naan, etc. I'd come here again just for that biryani!

When covid hit they were looking for money. We bought gift cards from them to help them threw the bad times. Went there the other night and were told that they had changed systems and that the gift cards couldn’t be read. Was told they would fix it within 72 hrs 72 hrs came and went said he needed more time. Now he says he knows nothing. Guess i will have to sue the guy and report him to the attorney general. O well no good deed goes unpunishedRob argentieri
