So happy that SOB is back and better than ever. The oysters are hands down the best in town. Lobster was great, but my favorites are still the octopus and smoked fish dip- waited 2 years and it was worth it. Best staff, great vibe, best restaurant in Annapolis.

All I can say is, wow. EVERYTHING here is top notch. Better than most Michelin guide (and honestly Michelin starred) restaurants I've been to in DC.Cocktails are excellent. We had 4 off the menu and they were all really well done. And honestly... Everything we ate off the menu was stellar. I have ZERO complaints. The whitefish dip was amazing and the boqueria toast was one of the most delicious and complex things I've eaten... Ever. It's been two days and I am still thinking about it. The tinned fish was also excellent.The atmosphere is clean and modern with a good throwback sailor vibe. Staff were super friendly and helpful. 11/10.My *only* suggestion is to make the menu more GF friendly. I have SO many friends I would want to bring here, but since the menu has a lot of bread items, it would be really hard for them. Our server did say they had GF crackers, but that only helps a tad. I'm hoping they can find some solid GF bread to offer in the future!Truly -- so, so good.. I can't wait to go back.

I thought this food was exceptional. The oyster were, really good. The tuna was excellent. The lobster... Was mid at best. The no10 cocktail was also very good. The table was too big and the sound was also too big.Would go again

Sailor Oyster Bar is closed due to fire. Prior to that, it was great. Our go to place. Drinks were perfect with oysters. Staff was very knowledgeable and the atmosphere perfect.

There are so many times when I have had food that felt incomplete --plates that were missing acid, heat, or even heart-- but I have never felt that way at Sailor. Everything is done with care and consideration for the person partaking. The drinks are diverse and enticing, plates are vibrant, staff that make you feel like you are more of a friend than a customer-- it is my favorite place to be on a Sunday. Be mindful that this is not a well kept secret and plan that you may have a significant wait if you come on a weekend.
