The elotes locos are amazing. The torta milanesa took me right back to Mexico! Birria tacos were amazing. I ran out of room for the Alambre but I know it's going to be great. These guys are master chefs!

Got 3 tacos, one steak, chorizo, and chicken. All were great and the red hot sauce was fantastic. Service was also very quick.

10.17.23Stopped in to try this food truck out, first I though it was the same Mexican food truck that use to be at the bank at the traffic light just before Rt 50. I ate there a while back and now there gone when I saw this truck and the pick-nick tables I though I found it but I was wrong. It was taco Tuesday so all tacos were $2 I ordered the el pastor, chicken, shredded beef and there was another one but don't know what it was and a order of rice it was $11. I opened the box and it looked really good, I tried the chicken one first. Each taco had 2 soft shells and then they are filled very generously but have way to much cilantro. I like the onion but the cilantro over takes the flavors, th e chicken was extremely dried out from being over cooked. They do give you 2 sauces one red and one kind of green both were a little to hot for me. I tried the el pastor the pork was also a little over cooked but fortunately it had some pineapple in it so it gave it a little moisture and again way to much cilantro. I did finish this one I tried the shredded beef but for some reason I just didn't care for it at all, it had a lot of fat in the beef all of the soft shells fell apart on me while eating them. Very disappointing wish they had of been flour shells they may have stood up better. The rice I only took a few bites of it had a strange smell to it don't quit know what it was. Overall very disappointed with my tacos don't think I'll be back if I do it want be for a taco.

About a 1-1.5: Sorry, Taqueria El Primo, it's all you, not me.We made the trek to check this taco truck out, seeing that they had some great reviews, especially for their birria that's served on the weekends.Their menu offers various tacos, American-style tacos, grilled entrees, tortas, and even kid options. We ordered:+an order of tacos - I liked that they allowed you to mix-and-match, which was nice; we had 2 of the Asada and 2 of the Pollo+an order of birria - you can ask for a taco version or a quesabirria version, in which we opted for the taco version+guava juice - generous pour in the container, but this was super watered down/diluted The chicken tacos were pretty inedible - honestly, it was one of the worst chicken tacos we've ever had from a food truck. The chicken just had an off-putting taste to them, but also that they were super bland and had a weird texture. The carne asada was okay, but it could have used more seasoning. The tortillas that were used were dried out, so we weren't fans of those and sort of picked the pieces of meat out.The birria, on the other hand, was okay, but the consommé had a pungent odor to it, so I was not a fan of that. We also noticed that, even when we were super clear when ordering that we didn't want any cilantro (isin cilantro!) on either the birria or the tacos, and didn't want any cheese on the birria when asked, those were not honored; the tacos were heavily dressed with the cilantro, and the birria had cheese at the bottom and on the exterior of the shells. The red salsa is super spicy, and spice fiends would probably enjoy it.Staff is friendly and welcoming, and there are a few picnic tables set up for those who'd want to eat al fresco. Most seem to get their orders to go.I just wished I had the same or similar delicious experience others have had with Taqueria El Primo, but no dice.Located at the Sunoco station, there are some spots available to park; just watch out for broken pieces of glass that can found all over.+avoid the chicken tacos!+consommé has a pungent odor to it+inaccurate orders/customizations +friendly staff+at the Sunoco gas station

Okay I really don't want to give a great review because the place is always packed. Lol. Honestly one of the best taco places I have ever been to. The Quesabrirria is a ton of food for the price. You will not be able to finish. The Gringa is also excellent.

Such a good taco place. Service- super nice. they asked if I wanted American tacos or Mexican tacos when I ordered my tacos which I thought was a little funny but good to know they have options. Pollo Tacos- really good. So much flavor and the chicken was super tender. Flan- so creamy and smooth. I had been craving flan for awhile and this definitely did the job. Definitely coming back to try their other tacos!!

Delicious! I've driven by the place a zillion times on my way to Quiet Waters. But I received a menu flyer in the mail and I decided to try it. I ordered the Tacos Doradas (where I'm from in CA they're called taquitos) and I was so delighted. Fresh made, fresh ingredients and the rice & beans were delish too! A 2nd truck just opened right around the corner from my house. It's at 910 West Street. I can't wait to try that one too. I highly recommend this place, fantastic authentic Mexican food!

Hands down the best food truck in Annapolis. The tacos were authentic and delicious. Don't let the gas station parking scare you off .

Oh, My Goodness....... I have been researching taco shops that serve Birria style tacos for several weeks in and around Annapolis. I found only one place that serves these style of Jalisco tacos and it is at this "hole in the wall" or should I say a food truck in a parking spot at the Sunoco gas station called Taqueria el primo. So those like me that may have never heard of Birria tacos this dish is a meat stew traditionally made from goat meat but occasionally made from beef or mutton. The dish is often served on celebratory occasions. Preparation techniques vary, but the dish is often served with corn tortillas, onion, cilantro, and lime. The meat is marinated in an adobo made of vinegar, dried chiles, herbs, and spices before being cooked in a broth. Then it is served with a side of the cooked broth for dipping. It is amazing!!!!! I picked today; the wettest day we have had to go get these Domingo's de birria (they only serve these beauties on Sunday). I tried my best to order in English then just had to describe what I wanted. I ordered three of these tacos for $10.00. They came out super-hot and flavorful, the tortilla shells are semi fried like a crunchy hard-shelled taco, the cheese, onion, cilantro, and most important the extra tender stew meat was spot on. I dipped each taco in the broth, and I don't think I took a breath while enjoying these tacos. The meat was so tender and for me tasted like mom's tender Sunday brisket. Man, it is awesome. I usually observe Taco Tuesday, but I think I will have to start a new Sunday tradition, I think will call it Super Sunday.Oh yeah, I give this food truck the max stars of 5 because their food is the best.
