The only Chinese restaurant in the DMV and Baltimore areas that understands what Gluten really is. If you have gluten sensitivity and love Americanized Chinese food, definitely worth the trip even if you have to drive up from NoVA. Got some takeout here recently. Overall, not bad! I started out with some of the fried pork dumplings, thanks to many other recs on here and they did not disappoint! Crispy, porky, with a delicious sauce that had the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and salty. Would get again. I also ordered the Orange Chicken. Nice crispy breading without being too much or too heavy. The pieces were also cut into manageable-sized chunks rather than some of those enormous pieces you sometimes get. The taste was fine. I only wish there was a little bit more broccoli and a little bit more sauce to match the amount of rice they gave me. Otherwise, very good. I had it delivered and their website estimated about 55 minutes until arrival, but the driver got there in about 30, so I hope that speedy service is typical! Prices are fair. I'd order from here again.

It is the standard Chinese carry out. Difference is, that they have their kids in the dining area doing their homework. And the children are racist as fuck! The oldest boy called me GwaiLow. Which means round I and is a derogatory or racist statement in Asian countries. To hear that from a five year old in my back fucking yard I'm not happy about it. So fuck you fire walk burn in hell and teach your fucking racist children to shut your goddamn mouth.

I read great reviews on this restaurant in Grubhub so I decided to try it out. And I'm glad I did! I ordered Shumai, Tofu w/ mixed vegetables, Mu Shu Chicken &House Special Mei Fun.Everything was delicious and came in generous servings. The only thing that disappointed me was they didn't have the Chili Crisp sauce that would have gone well w/ the Shumai. Also the Shumais were smaller than what I expected. But aside from that, everything else was delicious! I will order from Fire Wok again. And I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good Chinese food ??? ??

I almost don't want to leave a review so I can keep it all to myself.Clearly a family establishment, and it's so sweet.If you have a gluten intolerant, please, do yourself the favor and come get some. I hadn't had general tso's in so long, and I nearly cried. 100/10.

I ached for (good) Chinese food since my celiac diagnosis and it has been so hard to find. Another restaurant closer to me glutened me on about half of my visits.Fire Wok has not glutened me yet after about 10 visits. The food is always so tasty, enjoyable, and quick. Without exaggeration, if I lived in or around Arbutus, I would likely finance the entire restaurant with how often I'd like to order. Unfortunately, I live a ways away and only can get it once every month or two when I visit my friend.I recommended Fire Wok to my friends during a game night and now the group is as likely to bring up ordering as I am because of the quality of the food. It's not just good gluten free Chinese, it's good /and/ can be gluten free.Thank you for many great meals and I'm looking forward to many more orders.Dietary restrictions: Very careful with gluten free for celiac folks. Not exclusive GF kitchen but I have yet to be glutened after many visits

I was really hoping this would be my go to Chinese spot. The reviews were pretty good and everyone said the food was good. Unfortunately I can not say that I’ll be coming back or ordering from here again. The food tastes refries as if yesterdays food was used for today. The chicken was hard and crispy and the broccoli chicken was oily. The fries tasted old as well. Not very happy with it.

The people were nice but the food was TERRIBLE. The chicken wings taste like they were double friend. As if yesterdays leftover wings were refried today upon order. My shrimp egg roll didn’t even have a piece of a shrimp in it. Never coming back here.
